I'm not sure if it's on the floor above or next door, but there's a karaoke bar or something similar, and I can hear singing and footsteps echoing through the building. I couldn't sleep at all, even with earplugs or headphones on. I guess it's unavoidable since the building itself houses a variety of tenants.
This was the only place I could afford during my Sapporo trip, which coincided with a Hawks professional baseball game over the weekend. As it was a double private room on the ladies' floor, I was able to relax comfortably even though it was on the second floor. There was an event going on in the common area, but I could barely hear it and slept soundly. The toilet and shower were also convenient, as I didn't have to go through a security door.
The overall space has poor ventilation, and the mixed bed space may be narrow with less closed windows, making it easier for small insects to grow and threatening health. Improving the space by adding natural sunlight and fresh air can boost occupancy motivation.
The facilities are clean and the cost performance is good. However, women should definitely request a women-only room. Absolutely.
If all you need is a place to sleep, I think it's not bad. Even though the front desk staff seemed annoyed, if you consider it not a hotel but simply a place to sleep where you can shelter from the rain and wind, then I think it has some value.
The location is easy to find and close to the station. The facilities are very clean, and both the shower room and toilet are new, which was a good impression. The bed was soft and comfortable, but since my room was right by the entrance, the sound of the door closing when people came and went was quite loud. It would be great if the door could close more quietly.
