The Basilian Minsk, Curio Collection By Hilton

The hotel is located in a beautiful location and building. The interior is modern. I downgraded my rating due to cleanliness. The bathrooms use black fixtures, which I think is a bit of a downgrade for a hotel, as they require careful maintenance, something this hotel, unfortunately, doesn't take into account. Upon arrival, all the fixtures were covered in limescale, which hadn't been removed, as evidenced by the cobwebs in the photo. The toilet was covered in stains. Also, fingerprints from previous guests were visible on the black cabinet doors. If you decide to design your room like this, you need to train your staff to maintain it. During daily cleaning, they didn't refill the toilet paper and toiletries bags that had run out. What also surprised me was that the air conditioning vent was located directly above the headboard. On the very first night, I felt a chill, as cold air blew directly into my face.

This stylish hotel, after a complete renovation, is located in a pre-revolutionary monastery in the city center, within walking distance of the metro and the city's main bar street. The interiors are fresh. So far, nothing is loose, creaking, dangling, or scratched. The rooms vary widely. I didn't like the size or interior layout of a couple of the attic rooms, while I also found luxurious rooms on the second and third floors. And we were talking about the same category. There may be some noise from the bar street on the embankment, but it's no worse than any other city street noise. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The mattresses and linens are of good quality. We slept well. The hotel staff is polite. The water pressure in the rooms is excellent and the temperature is good. We had no issues with the plumbing. Toiletries are in dispensers. The room comes with a tea station; bottles of water are not provided. It is recommended to use tap water with a drinking filter. Public areas consist of a tiny, albeit stylish, reception area. Breakfast at the hotel is served in a beautiful room, but the selection leaves much to be desired given the price. It's very basic. I'd improve on that. Overall, the hotel is comfortable. The stay met expectations, despite the steep price tag.

1. The hotel is newly renovated, clean, and boasts modern interiors. It's very conveniently located in the city center. The hotel has four floors and an elevator. There aren't many rooms and people, and it's close to the Svisloch River embankment. 2. The service is completely nonexistent. The hotel staff didn't bother to change the linens for the three of us the entire week, and only did so right before our check-out because we asked at reception if it was normal for a hotel to go a week without changing linens. The room has a kitchenette and is supposed to have dishes, and the number of guests was known a month before arrival. However, they didn't have the required amount of cutlery for the three of us. We went down to reception and asked for some. A full day passed, and no one brought any, even though they asked for our room number just for show. The issue was resolved after a second request, two days later. 3. When we checked in, meaning they handed us our room keys, we walked in and found no basic amenities for our room – no dishwasher detergent, no sponge, no powder, no dishwasher capsules. In other words, the hotel rooms are completely unprepared for guests. We purchased everything ourselves, and only on the third day did they bring us a basic kit. 4. The coffee capsules ran out and they were also slow to refill them. We had to remind reception again to provide capsules for the coffee machine. 5. When it was raining, we needed umbrellas. We asked reception for them, and they asked, "Are you sure you don't have any in the room?" This was simply ridiculous. The hotel staff doesn't prepare the rooms at all and has no idea whether they are ready or whether they have everything they need. 6. Large spiders, which are common near the river, enter the room through the windows or ventilation vents. Even in September, there were mosquitoes. There are no screens on the windows. Insects in the rooms of such a hotel are extremely unimportant. 7. Overall, throughout the entire week, not once did any staff personally inquire about our satisfaction with the service or our room needs, either by phone or by visiting our room. The hotel was noticeably sparsely populated, but even so, the staff showed no interest in the guests' lives. We've stayed in hotels, traveled extensively, and have never encountered such a poor level of service and lack of interest from hotel staff. Please note! This approach is simply unacceptable for the global Hilton hotel chain!

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Varied menu. Special thanks to the restaurant staff for their professionalism. The only drawback is the location. I will definitely come back again.

This is our second stay. I'll echo what others have written. The rooms are magnificent, the location is excellent, and the staff is friendly. Now, some downsides that travelers should consider. The soundproofing of the windows is mediocre, and across the street from Minsk's main entertainment district, it's noisy until the early hours. The breakfasts are simply disgraceful. Minimal selection for the maximum price. It's not a problem to see how your peers are doing online, given your star rating, in the allied space, for example, Hilton.

A wonderful hotel with friendly staff. There were a few issues, but they were quickly resolved.

I enjoyed staying at this nice quiet location in the middle of old town. The stuff was friendly. The room was clean and overall experience was Super pleasant. Also was a nice pleasant surprise to have a washer and dryer in a room. as a diamond member. I truly appreciate the staff that took time to accommodate me here.

Excellent hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, good plumbing. Delicious breakfast, parking available.

While there are many nice things about this hotel - as a Hilton diamond member I will not be recommending this property to anyone. I had one complaint, important from my position, and requested the reception to ask the hotel manager to call me to discuss the issue. I received neither a call or an email and think that this is a low quality of customer service to people who choose Hilton over other hotel groups. Loyalty need to be cherished - not disrespected
