Orion Hotel - Ghent

It's always a real pleasure to return here. Of course, the Art Deco style and the neighborhood are extremely pleasant (Miljoenenkwartier, the millionaires' quarter), but above all, the staff is charming, helpful, and attentive. A special mention goes to the reception team and the owner, Gerald, who go the extra mile to find quick solutions to minor issues or emergencies, ensuring the comfort of their guests. The (heated) pool and spa, the already generous breakfast, complemented by delicious extras (cappuccino, omelet, etc.) – everything here invites relaxation. A wonderful way to discover Ghent in comfort, and the tram to the city center is just steps away. I highly recommend the Hotel Orion, whether for a stopover or a longer stay!

The hotel is located in an easily accessible neighborhood of Ghent, close to public transport and a short distance from the city center and shops. A very warm welcome and helpful information about the city. Very easy to access with private parking and public transport nearby. The breakfast was also very comprehensive. We had a pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel! Ideally located away from the city center, quiet yet with a tram stop just across the street – a 15-minute ride to the city center. The breakfast was plentiful but excessively expensive. The pool is open to everyone in the morning, but private sessions are available for a fee in the afternoon. The pool maintenance is only average. Three points I would like to see improved: - No bathrobes or slippers provided (especially for going to the pool) - The overall maintenance of the establishment is average, particularly in the rooms (missing curtains, missing shower plugs, leaking shower) and the pool area - The breakfast is overpriced (€19.50 per person).

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, housed in a beautiful Art Deco villa in a quiet, airy neighborhood that's easily accessible by car. The parking is conveniently located within the hotel grounds. The welcome was warm and friendly, not just administrative. The tram to the city center is nearby, the journey is quick and smooth. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the park. The breakfast was excellent, with items prepared to order. We loved everything about it!
