A large avenue where one can see the square in the distance. A large square in front of the museum. Unfortunately, the avenue was under construction.

Our hotel was near this square and as we visited Prague 10 years ago in November/December we wanted to see what's chanaged. Well, half of the square in front of the National Museum is closed due to some construction work - we did hear talking about placing tram through the square - if this is truth OMG. There are too many "cheap food" offering chain restaurants which didn't appeal to us. The best of this square are beautiful bildings and the National Museum.

This block seems to have gone the way of the Champs-Élysées, with local or authentic places largely displaced by generic chains. As you enter from the Old Town side, what's the first thing you ser? Foot Locker! Across the street is McDonald's. Being anchored at the other end by the architecturally magnificent National Museum is really tho only reason to go at this point; the historic significance and local charm are otherwise largely lost.

Very large square where protests and gatherings used to take place. Not recommended for dining as it is full of tourist traps. Many trams cross the square that is easy to reach even with the green and yellow mentro.

The hotel, apart from the rooms, has no other redeeming features. Although there were reviews saying the breakfast was good, the breakfast area is very small and poorly ventilated, resulting in a bad smell. We didn't have breakfast there. The room temperature is decent, but there's no air conditioning; there's a portable one in the room that's useless except for the noise. The showers have very little water and are constantly cold. There's nothing extra besides water in a pitcher.

A laid-back promenade. Like all the prague, the streets here are rugged.

wenceslas square is huge and full of shops, cafes, and things going on. great spot to just walk around, grab a snack, and people watch. the nearby metro stops make getting there easy too. i liked how the national museum at one end gave it a nice touch of history without being over the top.

The square is very large full of shops and has a very vibrant atmosphere. Some shops may be expensive but one can find a wide variety of places from where to buy souvenirs. In the square there is the national Museum of History and also there are multiple commercial galleries hosted in vintage palaces
