Café Einstein Stammhaus es una institución berlinesa desde 1978. Se encuentra en Schöneberg, a un corto paseo del antiguo barrio gay de la ciudad, y este café y brasserie de estilo vienés ocupa una villa de 1878. Tiene historia; tiene buena comida.
Ofrecen cocina austriaca clásica: sopas contundentes, schnitzels, strudels. Nada sofisticado, simplemente bien hecho y servido sin complicaciones. Puedes venir a disfrutar de una comida completa o simplemente de un café. Las salas son de tonos crema y granate, con paredes revestidas, un lugar cómodo para sentarse y comer.
Desayuno, almuerzo, cena o simplemente un café rápido: funciona para todo. Ursula Bachauer fundó el lugar, y todavía se siente como un local del barrio, una verdadera institución de Berlín que, casualmente, se encuentra cerca de algunos de los mejores bares y tiendas LGBTQ+ de la ciudad.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again when you reopen. This café holds many personal memories, and I hope to experience them again. Your quality is good, truly good. Surely it can't be that such a beautiful place won't reopen?! Berlin needs this place; Berlin doesn't need chains! So, does the state of Berlin own this?! Where is the willingness to make a sensible investment?!

The cafe looks completely different from the outside of the house. The interior is very simple, austere, and lacks any coziness or atmosphere. We went for coffee in the morning. It's very noisy inside, with waiters rushing around, but there aren't enough of them, so we waited almost half an hour for coffee and strudel. The coffee was okay, but the strudel wasn't great. Also, the prices are above average. We won't be returning...
I liked the atmosphere and good location. The coffee was very good and the service was attentive.
