Warm and welcoming service in a small hotel with retro chic and 80s charm! I had a large, spacious double room with a small bathroom. I was very pleased to find the tissues and hygiene bags provided. Everything was spotlessly clean! The breakfast for €10 is fantastic. Everything you could possibly need for a great start to the day is there and more. You can choose between something from the automatic coffee machine or freshly brewed filter coffee in your own little thermos. I even got a freshly cooked egg, even though breakfast time was already over. Breakfast is served from 7 to 9 a.m., but you can also order a late-night snack in advance. :) An absolutely wonderful place in Braunschweig's old town. It's a 20-minute walk to the main train station, or less than 10 minutes by public transport. I'll be back!

Upon arrival, I received a very friendly welcome and was provided with helpful information tailored to my needs. The room is quite dated but very clean. Unfortunately, the TV only received a very limited number of channels, and those that did were spread across a large number of slots. This made the TV unusable. Even pointing this out didn't change anything. A real shame. And the mattress is definitely past its prime!
