The tasting (premium) was great and they can accommodate my dietary constraint. Waygu rice and flank are amazing main course and the milk bread with the smoked trout are the must eat. I’ll skip the desserts as they are not anything special.

It’s shocking that they have any michelin recommendations at all. All the food was over salty and overall mid, and for the price? Ah hell nah. Wouldnt recommend.

We have twice ordered the three-course "omakase" menu, which acc. to the restaurant means "chef's choice" (13000 ISK per person). First time we visited the food was interesting, service was very attentive and we had a great experience. We then came back for a special occasion and ordered the "omakase" menu again. We mentioned that we were pescatarian but we received only vegetarian Italian dishes (burrata, cacio e pepe and gelato). Burrata was exceptional, but the other dishes could well have been served at any Italian trattoria. I like Italian food as much as the next person, but ordering the "omakase" menu I perhap. wasn't expecting three Italian dishes. Service was also lacking the second time around. Fails to live up to its marketing and price point.

We ate at in order of preference The Fish Company, KOL and OTO, The Fish Coampant was the best KOL #2 and OTO, should not be in the same grouping. How it has a Michelin star is beyond me. The food was over complicated over priced and not worthy of a Michelin star. In fact, the star probably ruined the restaurant. Both The Fish Company and KOL blow it away in creativity, services and quality of food.
