Orgullo de Montenegro 2026

Montenegro Pride is the Western Balkans' historically significant annual march, held in Podgorica every July. What began in 2013 amid street violence and nationalist counter-protests has evolved into a resilient, police-protected event that draws participants from across Montenegro and neighboring countries. The 2026 edition continues the tradition of combining a daytime march through the city center with an evening program of concerts, panels, and community gatherings. With Montenegro's EU accession process ongoing, each Pride march carries added political weight as a demonstration of civil society vibrancy. Expected attendance is around 1,000 participants, reflecting the scale of Montenegro's LGBTQ+ community and its international supporters.
