The Tree House

Lovely bright quiet studio above the garage in a residental neighborhood around a 10-min drive from Inverness city center with private entrance through the side gate upstairs. Path behind the the house leads to a retail park with giant supermarkets and McDonald's 5 minutes on foot. Microwave, oven, stove, and fridge plus a bathtub in addition to outdoor patio seating looking out onto their lush backyard are all very nice touches to be enjoyed! They could've cleared some of the cobwebs outside though... one of the chairs was almost entirely covered in it😅 We live in a city flat without a microwave so was fun to have cheap Tesco microwave dinners outside on the patio and a welcomed break from spending lots of money eating out while away from home. Can see treetops swaying in the breeze from the bed/sofa and hear birds chirping which does make this feel like a tree house indeed! More like airbnb so remember to bring your own toiletries and tea/coffee as needed although cooking essentials, crockery, and cutlery are all provided. Keep in mind the roof's sloping so the person sleeping against the wall has less room & will need to hop over the other person to get out of bed early but not too bad actually... just watch your head. Bed a bit too short if you are over 6'2 since a dresser is used as the footboard & the shower is tricky for someone tall. The sofa's pretty comfy.

Be sure to check their cancellation policy, thought I had 24hrs to cancel without charge. Payment taken for entire booking (2 nights), I guess business is slow at this time of year and they feel they need the money more than I do. Not even a response to my message, got their money, I don't matter. Next time I have to stay in Inverness it certainly will not be at The Tree House

Great wee place

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Treehoose it was extremely private in a woodland area. The accommodation was clean and well furnished couldn’t fault it. A nice touch was the owners supplied us with a chilled bottle of sparkling wine to start our holiday 🍾. When we were in the hot tub a red squirrel was climbing the tree about 5 feet away. We would be happy to return in the future. Thank you H&H

This is a lovely well furnished open plan apartment. On Google maps it looks like it is in an area of housing, which it is, but the Tree House over looks a green space towards large mature trees. The area is very quiet and it is ready to forget what you aren't in the country side. Shops are an easy 8 minutes walk away and a 45 minute walk will take you into the centre of Inverness. The Tree House is very easy to get to from the A9. In less than 5 minutes you can be on the A9 towards Aviemore or Wick. It is equally easy to head east towards Nairn and Findhorn.

Strongly recommended fully equipped studio flat ideal for work handy for shops, parking and WiFi. Makes like you are working from home.

I stayed in this airbnb recently. It is newly decorated to a high standard and modern with a small decking area outside which is fantastic to have as an option on a nice evening. The host was very helpful and located just next door. Great wee place.
