One-night stay in a female dorm with four double bunk beds; each guest chooses their bed upon arrival. The dorm is spacious and divided into a sleeping area and a locker area, with a small toilet near the main door. This is a plus compared to other hostels, as your belongings are inside the dorm and you don't disturb your roommates, since this area is separate from the sleeping area. The hostel has numerous indoor and outdoor common areas available 24/7. Despite a hot day in the city, the hostel was cool and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and varied. The location is unbeatable, right at the foot of the Bundeshaus and next to the river.

I spent a wonderful week at the youth hostel with a school class – as a repeat offender! The location is excellent, the rooms are practical and have a lovely view. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection, and there's a ping-pong table with paddles and balls available for the teenagers. The reception team is also very helpful.

The location right next to the Marzili cable car is unbeatable, and breakfast was good as usual. Unfortunately, the room in the main building was very dark and could use a fresh coat of paint. There was no shelf or power outlet by the bed. On the plus side: The lockers in the room can be locked with the key card, and there's a microwave and refrigerator for self-catering.

I found it to be a really exciting and overall acceptable experience. There was plenty to do in the city, and you also had the opportunity to play a bit of table tennis on-site. It was especially nice that there was always something going on, so you didn't just have to sit in your room. The surroundings were interesting, and you could do a lot with other guests. However, I thought it was outrageous that you had to hand over your entire mobile phone for a few table tennis rackets – SCANDAL!!!!!!!! In my opinion, that was far too much to ask and could have been handled much better. Lunch was okay on the first day, but it was very disappointing on the second and third days. The selection wasn't particularly good, and the food unfortunately wasn't very convincing. I would have expected much more, especially when spending several days there. Breakfast, on the other hand, was quite alright and made for a better start to the day. The room was good, clean, and generally comfortable. The beds were okay, and you could rest well. However, there were no towels to dry your hands after washing them – SCANDAL!!!!!!! That was really unnecessary and quite inconvenient. A few small extras in the room would have made the stay even better. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. Nevertheless, there are still a few things that could be improved. Overall, though, it was a memorable experience.

We stayed there a few years ago and everything was perfect. The room wasn't in top condition this time, but it was still great to have an en-suite bathroom! The service was sometimes excellent and sometimes less so, but they always tried to be helpful. Breakfast was good.

He was an unforgettable man who simply approached me and told me about himself on his website 😃😄😄😄😄. When I booked another night, this man had a bed below mine. It was quite a fun night. None of us in the six-bed dorm got any sleep. At breakfast, he cleaned up after everyone else 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. I'm so happy ❤️ to have met this man.
