Since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, the LGBTQ+ community has been significantly impacted — many activists have fled, venues have closed or operate intermittently, and same-sex couples serving in the military cannot officially register their partnerships. Despite the wartime context, Ukrainian civil society including LGBTQ+ organizations remains active.
