The Waterfront Lodges

Wow, this place was amazing. If coming From Nuneaton its on the left In the fisheries bit if you go to the question side you can't get in. The lodges themselves are really really nice and everything you would ever need a night away and full of smart tech, we arrived out of office hours and we're giving a code to get into the main gate but it was open anyway. They all have a lake for you and you're not overlooked by another lodge, they're also dog friendly with a £10 supplement, every room in her fridge and bathroom has a nice shower. The better also very comfortable too. The deck which leads onto the lake is amazing but also quite slippy so be careful as there is no barriers fall in the lake. Can't recommend this place enough.

Stayed for one night in a 2x bed hot tub water lodge. Honestly was impressed with the sizing of our lodge and how decked out it was with lighting. The bed was soo comfy and was a very cosy stay. The hot tub was amazing used both in the evening and the morning looking straight out onto the lake with the sunrise and birds. The one point I would like to make is the room could with a freshen up (repaint the walls a solid white, clean the sofas and maybe an air diffuser as the smell of must hits you when you walk in.) would definitely recommend to anyone! It was lovely to have quiet time local to home and see a different part of the country side⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The communication I had with the owners was second to none. Had a family emergency so had to cancel hours before and they was super understanding and gave me a no cancellation fee. Many thanks

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for one night for one of our friends birthdays, I asked if they could put happy birthday in the room, which they did, rooms lovely, view to lake beautiful, animals nice and friendly made a friend for life with Mr larma lol, Lady on reception was very nice and helpful as was all the staff we spoke too. Would definitely return, would be good idea if there was a was I've making the breakfast room work for them in the future.

Everything was amazing here! A little sad the restaurant isn’t anymore open as it was a little difficult to get food ourselves, apart from that the rooms, lake view, hot tub, animals and surroundings were perfect and amazing, I’d love to come again soon

I really loved staying here. The only thing letting down The Lodges is the maintenance.. all my friends rooms and my own had issues with the heating (not great when temperatures were dropping to near 0°). There was no blanket supplied, so we slept in our Oodies. The hot water was hit and miss. The fancy lighting worked on the first night, on the ceiling only, but was stuck on blue for the rest of the time. On the plus side, the view is outstanding! The peace and quiet is gorgeous, and the bed was extremely comfortable!!

Absolutely stunning!! Booked this for my partners 40th birthday treat and it did not disappoint. Room was lovely and clean with everything you need. Hot tub and decking area well maintained and view was beautiful. They have some very friendly animals that you can feed (fish food and animal food you can purchase from reception) all staff was lovely and friendly. Highly recommended and will 100% be returning x thank you all xx

We stayed in a double twin room, the beds were comfortable and very clean and we really enjoyed the view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and approachable, we met the housekeeping lady who kindly stocked us up on lots of tea for our two nights stay! There was a very strong fishy smell on the carpet in one area of the room, where I think fisherman put their fishing tackle. There was an issue with the condensation after a shower, leaving everything very wet whenever any of us needed to use the loo afterwards for ages, everything was very wet to the touch. The balcony decking could also do with a deep clean as it didn’t feel clean enough to sit outside so we didn’t use it. At night the room was extremely hot but the window didn’t open and we couldn’t adjust the heating/aircon ourselves despite trying for ages, and no way to get in touch with anyone, so we had to leave the balcony door slightly open to get cool air, which meant the lodges cat paid us a visit at 2am which was a shock (we love cats but not ideal). We would have fed this back on checkout but there wasn’t anyone at reception even though we checked out on time, which also meant there was nobody there to buzz us out of the gate when we were trying to leave. Not a massive issue but a bit inconvenient! Overall, a nice stay, just a few improvements needed!
