Beautiful place

I only went for breakfast, but I thought it was a very nice, quiet place with a good variety in the breakfast buffet.

The pipes really need replacing; the smell is terrible, and some rooms flood. The food is extremely basic and very expensive. I'm surprised they don't have pupusas, given that they're a traditional Salvadoran dish. Honestly, I'd only recommend it in an emergency.

The hotel was old and in need of modernization, and the breakfast was poor with few options. But that wasn't even the worst part. They rented the space for a debutante party with loud noise, and we couldn't sleep.

Disrespectful to guests with a party at the hotel and loud music late into the night. The least they could do is notify guests in advance so they can cancel their reservation and find other accommodation options.

Where to start, a party of 13 arrived, the hotel had been booked for months, they should have known we were coming. Reception no problem, the room, no fridge, safe, kettle or hairdryers. Restaurant, totally unprepared, one member of staff and a manager. Manager instead of helping just stood over the poor waiters shoulder instead of helping. He was unable to take basic orders, deliver warm food ( took 50 minutes for a chicken panini with cold chips) There was no beef, nachos, not a single pudding from the limited menu. The following night unsurprisingly we went out and in return wanted a drink before bed, when asked for drinks menu we were met with the same restaurant manager who was clearly cross that we had not eaten in his restaurant, he now had two waiters, when I asked for. JD and Coke the reply was “No” and he walked away to make a milkshake leaving 4 members of the party to place their order from one of the waiters. Breakfast was slightly better right up until the breakfast manager took away the toaster as they had run out of bread for toast. Really !! Then I returned to my room to find a letter telling me they are charging my room $45 for stains. ! At reception they could not tell me on what the stain was nor what the nature the stains were, nor could they provide any proof. I refused to pay. Poor , very poor.

Uber drivers don't usually know how to get here, but it's in a good location. The city center is about a 15-minute drive away, or 20-25 minutes if there's traffic.

The room was nice, the breakfast was good
