Penrose Pride Parade

Penrose Pride is Arlington County's own Pride celebration, organized each June by Equality Arlington in the Penrose neighborhood of South Arlington. A community-focused parade and street gathering rather than a large corporate festival, it features local LGBTQ+ organizations, neighbors, families and allies. It reflects Arlington's integrated, neighborhood-based approach to LGBTQ+ life - distinct from the much larger DC Capital Pride across the Potomac and the regional Northern Virginia PrideFest held in the fall.
