United Motel Lansing

United motel has not been updated or remodeled since I first discovered it over 16 years ago the curtains are still the same the carpet still is the same all the furniture is still the same and the longer it's not remodeled the more damage there is to it. I got a room recently here and they place me into a room that smelled and reached like marijuana and the door look like it was kicked in leaving a huge gap in the crack of the door the dressers and everything were all broken and the blanket had holes all over it from being burned. I asked for another room and the next room was a little bit better but not much. I have seen roaches in the first building and in the last building when I asked for a queen room in the past I was told there are none here and just recently discovered that was a lie and since then I've been able to get a queen room for much cheaper. When I walk into the room the bed is not made properly it is very clumsy put together and a towel folder in the bathroom art folded very unprofessionally. The front lobby is not inviting at all there is a huge amount of space that can be used for customers to lounge or read a magazine or wait for a ride what is empty and uninviting I would suggest maybe putting a few arcade games in there maybe a snack room maybe a laundry room you would get a lot more business if you guys did this. I am staying here now this is my second night here but the first night here I was placed into a room and I pulled back the blanket and she had a huge huge brown spot on it I pulled the sheet back to see if it was just a stain and again on the next sheet there was a huge brown spot like it was never changed and just folded back over like it was brand new again this shows absolutely no standards for the person who is working here and cleaning the room. One more thing there is a huge pool outside that has not been used ever since I've known if you guys opened up the pool don't you think you guys will get a lot more business you can up your hotel rates and everything this whole place needs to be remodeled painted the cement walkway in the back that is on the second floor is leaning and very dangerous and looks like it wants to fall over you would think you guys would have that remodeled for the safety of others p having someone cleaning these rooms every day that is not doing their job properly is very unprofessional and disgusting just remodel the place and you guys can operate in a guarantee you will bring more business in your parking lot needs to be fixed and paved I know someone who can pay it for you guys for a very cheap it needs to be striped as well so pretty much from the entrance in it is completely falling apart anyone staying here please be aware that this is everything you will experience. The staff are decent but very send offish they pretty much turn their heads to your complaints and shrug off your wishes even though you pay money for it I should be able to ask for new sheets and a blanket if I go into a room and it looks dirty and unsanitary stop using just water to wipe things down they need to be sanitized how about spraying your business for bugs instead of spreading roaches to people's homes

Right off the highway this motel has always been a reliable place for me when I want to be alone this place keeps tidy rooms clean bathroom always stocked with clean linens and bath towels great people in the main office

We've been coming here on and off for about a decade. It's gone downhill in terms of cleanliness and room quality. I understand it's an old place and it's cheaper, but there's no reason the rooms should be as dirty as they are. Furniture needs to be updated and walls repainted in some rooms. Chairs, pillows, and sheets with mystery stains on them is gross. One time we got a room that smelt of cat urine. I had to throw away my socks when I got home. Sink pipes will sometimes leak onto capet. As far as the front desk staff, they're always polite. I wouldn't consider this a family friendly place though. Sometimes we've heard loud, drunk people outside our room late at night.

Staff is really nice the cleaning is not thorough. You get what you pay for but I definitely see some illegal things going on not a family place
