Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront

Very bad experience. 180$ per night and not at all worth the price. Booked 2 nights but had to check out 1 night before cz of the bad smell in the room and hallway. Hallway smells full of smoke. The room is dirty. Doesn’t feel like using the towels cz you see dust all around. Makes you feel if they even cleaned others items or not. Wash basin is designed in a way that you cannot properly especially trouble for a pregnant lady. Shower too old to operate. Major problem with hygiene and cleanliness. Not the Radisson hotel that i thought of. Unfortunately did not get any refund cz the only option i had was to book it as non-refundable. And the reason i had chosen non-refundable is cz of the hotel name which i found is not worth at all. Never going to book Radisson hotel again. They should give us some refund cz you can only know about the place when you go there. The photos are deceiving.

Pamela the front desk lady was so rude me when I entered the building and tried to check in I don't understand why she had to give me attitude and be rude I had a room reserved and thanks to her it was cancelled very disappointed!

I would give 0 stars if possible. We booked for a family wedding so we had asked twice if we could check in early as we would miss check in but was told no but that it would be OK. It really would have helped us out, even knowing we wouldn't have access to the room. When we arrived, we were told we no longer had a room since it was passed check in, they were "full" although the parking lot was empty. We escalated it to a manager who was off duty but came down to the office with his beer in hand. It took over 45 minutes to "find" us a room that we already paid for. We were tired and hungry as the day started at 7am and we were out until 1am. It was too late for food so we crashed. In the am, we looked around the room and it was filthy. Food on the floor which unfortunately wasn't even from us. We booked this hotel because they had a promotion if you applied for a credit card you got $70 back. Now they won't honor the promotion and asked for a screen shot of it. I told them to check with their marketing team about what was on their website. I contacted support and got no support, they can offer us 15,000 points for our crappy unprofessional service. Don't waste your money or time!!! *Couldn't check in early to avoid a late checkin, although not needed access, due to a family wedding event *Was told our room was no longer available when the parking lot was empty *Manager coming down to assist while drinking his beer *Took almost an hour to get the check in resolved *Room was filthy - unfortunately not from our own food that we would have liked to of had time to order *Don't honor the promotion on your own website.

The views our room had of the Cincinnati skyline are in my opinion, the best on the KY side of the river. I don’t ever have high expectations from a Choice hotel. I stayed here strictly for the views that I remembered. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. Yet, In true fashion of a choice hotel; none of the exterior doors locked and did not need key code access. 10-15 kids were enjoying the pool, with parents that were not staying at the hotel. My kids couldn’t swim because the kids swimming were bullying mine, and clearly it was something done often. I later in the evening watched parents and kids leave (clearly non residents).

Hot water did not work the entire time i was there. The front desk lady when we checked in was as kind as possible when letting us know, but when we came down the next morning to follow up on when it might be fixed the lady then was quite snappy, like she was tired of being asked. Asked if we could be moved to another hotel in their ownership in the area and she said all they could eo was offer me a %25 refund if I wanted to cancel and go elsewhere, But that obviously wasn’t going to cover a last minute stay somewhere else. Had to buy day passes to planet fitness to shower. That meant we couldn’t use the pool, which we were also looking forward to, because we couldn’t go shower after. Closed the restaurant and did not inform us until 1/2 hour before that they were cancelling our reservations, so we had to search for dinner plans last minute. Air conditioner was absurdly loud, and not powerful enough for how large the room was. Curtains are set up in such a way that they cannot cover the whole window, so its tough to sleep past sunrise. The event we were in town for meant we weren’t getting back til midnight or so each night, and it would’ve been nice to be able to sleep later. Not that it would’ve been great sleep anyway, because these were some of the worst hotel beds i’ve ever experienced. Mattress was simultaneously firm but unsupportive, pillows were flat and tough. Woke up sore both days. TV only has about 20 channel options. The room also had a slightly odd smell, kind of like pool water had been treaded in and not cleaned at some point. Smelled like musty chlorine. The only positive thing I can say is the room was clean, but that should be the bare minimum. This place is in desperate need of an updating/remodeling.

Our room’s bathroom had drainage issues, both toilet and tub. Some confusion about our reservation, but front desk supervisor finally figured it out and tried to make concessions for us. Generally, the hotel could use some updating. Most disappointing was lack of Sunday brunch buffet. Apparently the buffet is only available on special occasions. We stayed at the Radisson specifically for the brunch buffet. Our server was professional and kind. The food was fine, but still did not make up for the lack of the brunch buffet.

Very disgusted this morning, i was nervous about hotel from the minute we checked in. Room appeared clean, however carpets were not well kept and this morning as i had gotten my daughter out of shower and trying to get my son in, my daughter screams seeing a very large cockroach on the sink and near our things on the sink. I threw away our things on the sink. As we checked out i let staff know my concern, with a manager standing right there and all i got was, ok we will take care of it. No apology, no nothing.

The Fifth restaurant isn't actual open except for breakfast and they make no effort to make that known. We called to reserve a handicap room. When we arrived, they first gave us a regular room. Then we went down and are now having to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare an accessible room. We called and specifically reserved one over two weeks ago.

I’ve stayed here a few times, and the last time wasn’t that great. The rooms are very dated, and we unfortunately got a view of the highway, which made it very noisy. We were on the 9th floor, and we had taken the elevators normally. The day we were leaving, we were taking our stuff down to the car, and the elevator was making weird noises, we got on reluctantly, and we pushed the button to go up and it started to go up and just stopped. We got stuck for a few seconds. We still had some bags and a cooler to take down, and when we pushed the elevator button, nothing happened. The elevator wasn’t making a sound, the lights were lighting up on the buttons, and we waited forever for the elevator, so just ended up carrying our stuff downstairs. We did this multiple times. I am complaining about the elevator being down, because it is an inconvenience to have to carry all of your stuff up by hand, and have to take multiple trips, especially if your not able to do stairs. I would be careful booking this hotel, if you have a disability and are not able to do stairs. The elevators are very unpredictable. I don’t think we’ll be back after this.
