I stayed at the Valley River Inn during a trip to Eugene for summer move-out week, and I had a wonderful experience. Since I was traveling alone, I requested a room change after being assigned a first-floor room. The staff was incredibly accommodating, kind, and understanding, making the process seamless and stress-free. Their level of customer service truly stood out. In a time when exceptional service can be hard to find, their team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and valued. I’m so grateful for their hospitality and would gladly stay here again the next time I’m in Eugene.
Booked a weeks vacation specifically for the pool , turned out it wasn’t open til 2 days after we left. Just our luck! We did use a 3rd party to book so I can see how we were uninformed about the pool being seasonal. But we just kept having issues, the bathtub wouldn’t drain, housekeeping made our beds with our dirty bedding. Sent to the wrong room our first night and our keys kept demagnetizing. We were on the 3rd floor having to go back down multiple times. Beautiful restaurant by the water we asked to sit by the window to enjoy the view and they sat us next to their bus sink station. We had to ask to move. It was just so unfortunate all the problems we ran into for spending almost $2,000. We didn’t let it ruin our trip, it was a beautiful time to visit Oregon.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lobby and fireplace seating area is really beautiful. The restaurant and bar is very well put together, and even if you're inside, the view of the river is gorgeous. The only bummer is that there's not a hot tub which, after a full week of road tripping, I was very much looking forward to. What I thought was a hot tub in the photos is actually the kids pool. But that was just a small ding on an otherwise lovely hotel.
Jenni elevated our experience at the Valley River Inn to levels as of yet unparalleled by any stay at any Inn by any person The view of the Willamette from our River View Room was truly whelming
