Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lehighton-Jim Thorpe, PA

Good location. The elevator is terrifying. Some design choices in the room do not make sense - no place to hang your towel for when you get out of the shower?

It was fine. Great breakfast in my opinion.

This was a nice hotel! Our room was great - spacious sitting room plus bedroom. There was a big fridge and microwave. Plenty of closet space and nice bathroom. The free breakfast in the morning was convenient. Free parking. Only downsides were the TVs didn't stay connected to Internet so most days we couldn't acess Netflix, etc. The elevator was a little suss. It was also right on the highway interchange which made it a little louder and awkward to get in and out of.

My experiences with the Comfort Inn/Country Inn & Suites brand have generally been positive. Having worked in hotel, restaurant, and resort management, I always conduct a thorough inspection of my room upon check-in. The property itself was clean, inviting, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were personable, professional, and very helpful. Our double-queen room was bright, comfortable, and conveniently located on the second floor. We were in town to attend a concert at Penn's Peak. I make it a habit to travel with my own cleaning supplies and give high-touch surfaces a quick wipe-down. Unfortunately, that proved necessary during this stay. While the bathroom initially appeared clean, the toilet was absolutely unacceptable. It had clearly been overlooked, with visible feces still present. I also noticed a few strands of hair in the tub, which I didn't take photos, it was disappointing to pay for a hotel room and then have to clean up after the housekeeping staff. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations of any hotel stay, and finding an unsanitary toilet immediately diminishes confidence in the room's overall cleanliness. That said, the remainder of our stay was pleasant. The beds were comfortable (yes, I do check for bed-bugs and signs of them), and the breakfast setup was convenient and accommodating. My advice to fellow travelers is simple: inspect your room carefully upon arrival and wipe down frequently touched surfaces. While this stay had some notable housekeeping issues, the staff and overall property left an otherwise favorable impression.

Rooms were more comfortable than the Hilton we stayed in the night before. The beds were not as comfortable, tho. That's the only reason it did not get 5 stars

Fantastic and clean hotel! The staff are amazing, special shout out to Alecia at the front desk for being super kind and friendly! Every employee made us feel incredibly welcomed during our week long stay. Our room was tidy and clean and never had a single issue the entire time. Highly recommend staying here.

Place was amazing. Linda at the front desk was so friendly and pleasant. The place is newly renovated. The carpet still smells new. The floors walls and everything were amazing. We slept so good we had a great visit to the area and staying here made it so much more. Thank you Linda.

Besides the exceptional customer service during my stay. I want to say they did above and beyond one this one. Two weeks ago i left the hotel and forgot my sweater in the room. I called the front desk and they were able to ship to my house. Its the little thing like that stands out from all the rest. Definately recommand this hotel if you take a trip to Jim Thorpe. Thank you again, you guys rock!
