Mahoning Inn

I had a great experience at the Mahoning Inn, and I especially want to recognize Tyler for his honesty and outstanding customer service. I accidentally left behind a necklace, and Tyler found it and made sure it was kept safe. He also took the time to explain exactly how I could have it returned to me. I really appreciate Tyler going above and beyond to help. Losing something valuable can be stressful, and his kindness and helpfulness made the situation so much easier. It’s employees like Tyler who make a stay memorable and reflect very positively on the Mahoning Inn. Thank you, Tyler, for taking the extra time to help me get my necklace back. It is greatly appreciated!

It's right next to a location I visit so it popped up.

Stayed one night - great budget friendly stay! It’s an older hotel but they’ve clearly done some great renovations. We stayed in a room out back, and it was a nice Mountain View. They offered cereal, make your own waffles, and other breakfast items in the lobby for breakfast which was nice. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay again if traveling that way again.

Currently staying in a room, there’s a whole invasion of mosquitos going on… front desk really not helping. Ask for a change of room. All I got was “ just shut the light off” Try to ask for a glass of milk (6am breakfast down the road is open 24/7… wasn’t expecting that. But I already paid so I will have to stay here for 2 days. Thank you for such a great service.

Not good.We were put into a room badly in need of renovating. It had a very bad, musty smell to it. The bathroom was bad. Sink vanity being held up by a 2x4, drain stopper not usable(drain plugged). It was fixed the next day but on a 2 night stay, next day is unacceptable. You NEED a working bathroom sink! There was also no smoke detector. A safety code violation! Motels can be shut down for this! One of the 2 queen beds was so noisy you could not move on it or you would wake up the sleeper in the next bed. Now the "breakfast", yeah they had some things there, but not the listed bottled water or yogurt. No sources of protein except for a tiny cup of peanut butter. No fruit. Really not a good breakfast at all. I would not recommend anyone to stay here and would definitely not go back. I am not a fussy person but while this was not the worst place I've ever stayed, it ranks right up there!
