Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center

The hotel was great overall. Clean rooms, great omelette bar, and nice amenities. Our bartender Neka was excellent. She made our drinks well and was handling 30 guests all on her own. Highlight of our stay.

Great stay in a great location, however, the poor bartender was absolutely swamped during the complimentary hours. She had a line around the lobby and had absolutely no help from anyone, management or otherwise. She had no time to clear empty glasses from the bar and was running out of glasses because of this. A hotel like this should have a bar back at least, if not two bartenders.

This Embassy Suites is stunningly comfortable in all aspects. One need to be here to appreciate it.

While my stay at this Embassy property had some positives, I was disappointed overall because this is a Hilton property and I expected certain standards. I believe it is time for a remodel. The thermostat in the room was not working properly, along with a few other minor issues. The bathtub also appeared poorly maintained and did not reflect the professional presentation I would expect from a Hilton property. There was also something in the fruit water that appeared to be a fly. I was unsure whether the container was properly emptied and cleaned or if more fruit was simply added. Due to these concerns, if given a choice, I would not return to this location.”

Eddie was amazing at cocktail hour!!! and Neka .. girl, she made a 50/50 martini on the spot and it exceeded every expectation!!!!

I am a new traveler to Virginia and as a Hilton Honors Diamond member I have stayed at a few properties to land the perfect home away from home. Well the Embassy Suites Hampton Convention Center is the place. Amazing Suites. Amazing Service! And Amazing Happy Hour drinks being shaken not stirred by Mr. Eddie. He truly brought the Happy Hour experience to life. Thank you Embassy Suites. Keep shining.

Embassy Suites is the perfect location and offers the best price in Hampton. The pool is extremely clean, and the entire front desk staff is very helpful, as are housekeeping and maintenance. ​A special shout-out to the lady who works in the restaurant—she truly goes above and beyond! Also, Eddie, who works the Happy Hour bar during the week, provides amazing service and always has a friendly face. He is incredibly pleasant to be around. ​I highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Hampton!
