I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding service I received during our stay at the SpringHill Suites in, Hampton, Virginia, on June 27, 2026. My husband and I were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary while attending the Hampton Jazz Festival, and Darius Mullen, the Assistant General Manager, along with his entire team, made our celebration even more memorable. From the moment we checked in until the day we departed, they provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant, comfortable, and enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, the hallways were clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did an outstanding job throughout our visit. Every team member demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and a genuine commitment to excellent hospitality. In today’s world, exceptional customer service has become rare, which is why I wanted to take the time to recognize Darius Mullen and his team. Thank you for taking pride in your work and for making our anniversary celebration such a wonderful experience. Your dedication did not go unnoticed, and it is truly appreciated. Stayed for 2 nights visiting my son stationed in Norfolk. Was greeted by Darius Mullen and he was the nicest !! He made us feel welcome during our entire stay! His professionalism and kindness meant a lot!!!!

Darius Mullen and his team did an excellent job servicing me and my family during our stay here. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt at home. Truly a rewarding experience and I will ensure I stay there the next time I return to Hampton. The customer service made the stay memorable alone.

Definitely not up to Marriott standards. Sink in room was cracked, tub worn and rusty. Only 2 Ice machines worked on the 5 floors. Worn and fraying carpeting, elevator floors and walls worn, tattered and peeling. Staff was wonderful, friendly and generous. Housekeeping was helpful and accommodating.

This is definitely a below standard hotel. The room was BAD. AC did not work, the shower leaked water all over the floor, the bed had a huge sip in it which made sleeping very difficult. Plus the toilet was refilling nonstop making so much noise while we slept. The front desk guy was great, but other than that I would stay away from this facility. Lastly it might be a one time item but there was a lot of activity in the parking lot from 1-3 AM which woke me and my children up (shouting and yelling)

We were on a 4,000 mile car trip and diverted to an unexpected funeral in Hampton right in the middle of it. We hit a piece of metal with our new Car and then had to wait three days for a new replacement. Darius Mullen one of the General Managers went way beyond his call to duty to help us extend our stay. He even called our next Marriott Hotel to help cancel and reschedule our future reservations. Great service, Darius runs a tight ship and helps his Team any way that he can. His hands try to touch every visitor's experience! Although this Hotel may be a bit dated their Team tries to keep it clean and fresh for their guests. The included continental breakfast is nice and they never run out of coffee. Everything deserves 5 Stars except for the age of the building. Will definitely return when we come back to visit family.
