First, I want to mention that the bar still owes me money, and the night this occurred, I only stopped by to use the ATM. I normally visit on Wednesdays with my friend Michi and to see Blaine, the bartender, but this situation happened on a Friday. I had planned to use the ATM and then head next door to Blitz for a birthday party. As I was about to leave, someone I just met last week Roy recognized me and called out my name, which is why I stopped for a moment at the bar counter. Shortly after, my friend Sydney walked in, I greeted him, and he left soon after. At that point, I noticed about five women at the other small bar staring at me for no apparent reason. I wasn't interacting with anyone else than people I happened to run into. When I walked across the room to use the restroom, I saw my friend Jon at the small bar who asked where I was going, I told him I was just heading to the bathroom. When I came out, I ran into my Korean friends Sean and Owen and we began talking briefly. That's when Jungah approached me and said, "You're not welcome here. We don't want you here." I found this extremely strange and uncomfortable, especially considering I wasn't causing any issues. I was simply there to use the ATM, greet friends, and continue to my next destination. The hostility felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I believe customer treatment reflects the integrity of a business, and in this case, it was a disappointing experience with an unprovoked attitude and disrespect. I'm leaving this review because of a recent experience here. First, this bar still owes me money. I was simply there to use the ATM, and unlike my usual Wednesday visit with my friend Mitch and the bartender Blaine, the incident occurred on Friday. I used the ATM and was about to head to Blitz's birthday party next door, but the person Blaine had previously introduced me to saw me, called my name, and stayed for a while. Then, my friend Sydney came in, said hello, and left shortly after. From that moment on, five women in the bar started staring at me for no reason. I then left to go to the restroom, and my friend John, who was at the bar, asked, "Where are you going?" I told him I was there. After leaving, I met my Korean friends, Sean and Owen, and we were chatting. Then, an employee named Jeong-ah approached me and said, "You're not welcome here. We don't want you." I hadn't done anything wrong, and I was only there to use the ATM, so I was very embarrassed. I believe that the way a place treats its visitors greatly affects the image of a place. I was simply greeting friends and using the ATM, but I was treated with such unprovoked hostility and rudeness that I was deeply disappointed.

I previously owned a bar, so I understand proper etiquette and often come here to support my bartender friends mostly Blaine. I also know Albert, Eddie, and Niki and have known them for many years. Unfortunately, I was told I wasn’t welcome by Jungah for no reason. It felt petty and competitive, especially toward younger women. I’ve recommended this place to many people and clients, and my previous bar that I owned is down the street we share many of the same customers, and our bars even borrowed Ichiko bottles back and forth. I like Chanel, the other owner she’s nice but behavior from the other partner like this is disappointing and reflects poorly. I’d be upset to know customers are treated this way, but instead, I was the one treated with no respect. If anything, the bar made money from me when I came to support my friends. Five older women sat together at one part of the bar staring at me intensely, and I believe Jungah approached me and said I was not welcome inside which was strange. It seemed like there was a lot of jealousy and hostility for no real reason. It's not my fault that many customers there greet me or recognize me. One of the owners appears to be power-tripping. Because of this, I'm giving this place one star, and I will be supporting my friend's bar on Keeaumoku Street everywhere except here. If I were her, I would be happy to have more younger and prettier women working there instead of creating tension. A bunch of older ladies being territorial isn't a good look. I don't recommend. The bartenders are nice, and the food is good, though. As a former bar owner, I know basic etiquette well, and I often came here to cheer on my bartender friends—especially Blaine. I've also known Albert, Eddie, and Nikki for a long time. Then one day, a woman named Jeong-ah told me I wasn't welcome, for no reason. It felt like jealousy and competition toward a younger woman, which was quite childish and unpleasant. I've recommended this place to many people and customers, and since my previous bar was nearby, we shared regular customers and even borrowed Ichiko from each other. However, I find this attitude disappointing and tarnishes the staff's image. I was there to support my friends, and the bar probably benefited from my presence, but instead, I was treated rudely. Five older women sat on one side, constantly staring at me, making me uncomfortable. One of them even approached me and told me I wasn't welcome. The atmosphere was filled with jealousy and envy, and I don't think it's my fault that customers recognize me and greet me. One of the owners seemed to be overbearing, and that's why I'm giving this place only one star. There are plenty of places to support, and I will continue to support my friends' bars in Kiamoku. I would appreciate it if there were more young, pretty, and competent women. This place just felt like it was full of older women who were just being territorial.

The older female karaoke dj sucks. She has no clue how to adjust the vocals/music nor do i think she cares at all. It's as if the customer is a second class citizen. When you try to ask her kindly to raise the volume, she looks at you like you're demanding ransom money. They need to immediately replace her with someone who gives a crap about the customer and who has an aptitudefor music. This woman seems to think the customer works for her. IMHO of course 😉 I'm happy to take incoming over my comments, but she sucks. Period. Bobby K

Karaoke place. Valet and back lot parking. Good for groups and watching sports. They are busy Friday night.
