Sobre este lugar Lucky Cheetah

Lucky Cheetah is a mainstream restaurant on Moulton Street in Portland's Old Port, the waterfront district of brick streets, bars and restaurants. It is listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. It holds a 4.6 Google rating from about 275 reviews and sits at the upper-middle end of local prices. We have no confirmed hours. The Old Port is busy with visitors in summer and early autumn, so book ahead then. Portland's small gay scene, including Blackstones, is within walking distance.

My husband’s Taiwanese parents owned the first Chinese restaurant in Buenos Aires. They had a phrase that referred to the type of food they served there: “pian waiguoren” - “fool the foreigners.” Yeah. The decor is gorgeous, the staff is nice, the drinks are on point, and the food is… pian waiguoren. I don’t know why we can’t get any actual delicious Chinese food in this city of a billion fancy restaurants (other than Sichuan Kitchen; shout out). Order some Panda Garden, get a $20 bottle of Sugei from Bow St $60 at LC!), and watch Eat Drink Man Woman instead

I was with a group of 5 for dinner at Lucky Cheetah last night. Everything exceeded expectations from the fun decor and vibe of the restaurant, to the friendly staff who made us feel like special guests, to the excellent food and drinks. We ordered a variety of shared plates and everyone seemed to have their own favorites. My personal favorites included the lobster dumplings (so flavorful!), beef bao, soup dumplings, and the short rib. I had an espresso martini which was great and tasted my husbands “pulp fiction” drink which was a standout. I highly recommend Lucky Cheetah for a great dining experience!

Visiting town for the day, did not expect to end up In "chinese" restaurant. Oh how glad I am that I ended up here. First of all the vibe is amazing. Got seated immediately during a busy time. Amazing dumplings, but drinks are something else. Highly recommend this place if you like to expand your food pallet.

I was expecting more from a place in downtown portland. Food was okay. our rice was so dry and hard. the cucumbers lacked flavor. the fried wontons and orange chicken were good. the drinks were excellent. I wouldn’t say this is worth it if you’re deciding on a spot in Portland. Portland is known for their food and I wouldn’t come back here. if you’re just looking for drinks and a good vibe, this is a good spot.
