Beech Forest

Beech Forest is a shaded pond-and-woodland trail off Race Point Road in the Cape Cod National Seashore that doubles, by long tradition, as a daytime gay cruising area away from the bustle of Commercial Street. It is a genuine nature reserve popular with birders and hikers, so cruising here is discreet and ambiguous rather than sanctioned — stay on public trails, respect other visitors and note that it is federal parkland where rangers patrol.
