About this place Plage de Tahiti

Plage de Tahiti is a gay-friendly beach located in the Antibes area of the French Riviera, drawing a diverse queer crowd looking to enjoy the Mediterranean coast. As a gay beach venue, it offers a relaxed seaside atmosphere where LGBTQ+ visitors can swim, sunbathe, and socialise in a welcoming environment. The beach is part of the vibrant gay scene along the Côte d'Azur, a region known for its progressive attitudes and established queer communities. Visitors to gay beaches in this part of France can typically expect a mix of relaxation and social interaction, with a friendly atmosphere where you can be yourself. The scene tends to be casual during the day, with opportunities to meet other travellers and locals. The natural beauty of the French Riviera—with its clear waters and picturesque coastline—provides a stunning backdrop for a day out. When planning a visit, remember to bring sun protection and arrive early during peak season to secure a good spot. As with any beach destination, facilities and nearby amenities may vary, so it's worth checking what's available nearby for food, drinks, and other services. The location offers easy access to the wider Antibes and Saint-Tropez areas, both of which have thriving gay scenes with bars, clubs, and restaurants catering to LGBTQ+ visitors.

Beautiful beach – they sift the sand every morning. Incredibly friendly staff – relaxed atmosphere and great food.

A wonderful place, a public beach with crystal-clear water. Dogs are allowed. Nearby is a paid section with a restaurant and sun loungers where you can have lunch. Parking is two minutes away. Not crowded in June.

Nice location, the food was quite good, and the service was super friendly. We sat in the smaller table because the larger one was full without a reservation. Prices were fair for the location.

Don't go to this beach if you want to relax; all the bars along the beach around you have their music volume turned up to maximum.

The insider tip is to go in autumn; in summer it's crowded and parking is expensive, but in autumn it's wonderful! No parking fees and a beautiful, empty beach!
