Our stay at Haus Annaberg exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, the communication was friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued as guests. The entire property was spotless and exceptionally well maintained, while the staff provided attentive service with remarkable professionalism and care. We were especially grateful for the excellent gluten-free and lactose-free meal options, which were prepared with great attention to detail. The level of hospitality and guest care was outstanding and easily rivals that of many luxury hotels. We wholeheartedly recommend Haus Annaberg and would be delighted to return.
We celebrated a large family reunion here with over 50 people from all over Germany. For us, it was the perfect place for this purpose (plenty of accommodation, affordable prices, lots of space, the opportunity to be undisturbed, and the spaciousness made it well-suited even for small children). From booking and planning to execution and invoicing, everything went smoothly and courteously. The food, especially the festive buffet, was excellent and praised by all the guests. The service staff was attentive and, in the best sense of the word, "invisible." The rooms were simple but clean. Toilets and showers are located in the hallways, which wasn't a problem for us. The beautiful, secluded location in a huge park with mature trees is unbeatable. The opportunity to spend two days together in such a pleasant atmosphere was greatly appreciated by all of us—even the youngest members. If you value atmosphere and seclusion more than comfort, then this is a very suitable place.
Nice place but im a bit in dissonance… it’s supposed to be a calm place, right??? So why is such an unlucky neighbour for the weekend stay. At the evening and night is a constant disco music somewhere very close to a hotel. I closed all my windows and you still can hear it, it’s 23 o’clock and my 8 m old wakes up because of that noice 😭😭😭😭😭
Deep in the woods, okay in summer, but you wouldn't want to go there in the dark during autumn or winter. The path is a steep uphill climb, and the bus stop in Friesdorf is a long way away.
Our family room had all the charm of a youth hostel. Unfortunately, the room was also quite run-down and dirty. There were unidentifiable stains and grime on the carpet, walls, and ceiling; very disgusting. One of the wooden beds was only good for kindling. One night cost us 94 euros, and the value for money was completely off. There was no toilet in the room, but at least there was a sink and a kettle. The only service provided was the key handover. The location is quite nice, in the woods on a beautiful property. However, we wouldn't recommend it for a family with small children.
