Steam room permanently closed, bathing pond permanently closed, whirlpool cold, the best sauna masters gone. It's sad what's happening here!
Actually a great sauna...lots of space and fantastic infusions. Friendly staff. However, the hygiene used to be better. There are lots of drain flies in the toilets and the floors are sticky in places. Anyone who loves plants will feel the urge to water them every time they visit because there are half-dried plants everywhere inside. A shame 😪 It could be better.
Water system was broken all day, no showers, no drinking water. We chose to leave almost immediately after we found out, didn't use a sauna or other facilities. Staff inside the sauna was considerate and nice about it, it was a holiday and they we're realistic about them not being able to find the mechanic to fix it on the holiday. You'd think on a day like that you'd ask a mechanic to be available on standby. Anyways. Front desk however, she still made us pay, told us it was our problem, the nerve on that woman. With the classic "Berliner snauze" (rude) attitude as well.
A lovely sauna, very idyllic and relaxing. Unfortunately, we experienced many technical problems during our stay, but that's certainly not always the case.
All in all, a very nice sauna. Today it was rather quiet, which was perfect for us. You can choose between visiting the sauna for 3 hours (€27.00) or for the whole day (€33.19). Unfortunately, not all the saunas were open today; the largest one was closed to save on energy costs. At least, that's what one of the staff members told us. We had to wait a relatively long time for our food. There's also a swimming pool directly connected to the sauna.
