Ideal location for walking. The apartment is very basic and clean, with a well-worn mattress, no bidet, and insufficient storage space. It's only suitable for one night. The owner is very attentive.

In short... the bedroom door has a lock but no deadbolt. It won't lock. The key is useless.

I was not at all satisfied with the price paid

The owner is a bad person. We informed him that we would be arriving late (after 10 p.m.), he took our money, and we didn't receive our room keys. He does everything he can to prevent us from checking in, then explains that we can't check in after 10 p.m. I warn everyone against this man. Do not book this place.

We spent four nights here. The location is a plus – close to the main pedestrian street leading to the old town and the port. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants. The self-check-in was a plus. Clear instructions were provided, including which building, which door, and the code. The entrance door was opened using a link provided by the owner. The small space with a microwave and capsule coffee machine, as well as coffee and sugar, was a plus. The windows were a downside. They let in all the sound, and Italians, for some reason, love to honk their horns – it was impossible to sleep at night. The curtains made the room dark, but the noise unfortunately remained. The bathroom could use some renovation and ventilation, as there was mold and terrible dampness. It was nice that there was a bidet. The shower didn't have a separate shower head, just a protruding rain shower head. We didn't have a single cleaning or towel change in four days. The headboard is made of imitation leather (see photo).

Top location, room was simple but had all the necessities. Amazing balcony view. Great value for money

We arrived earlier,around 12.30,and we had early check in at 13.30.I called the owner to see if we can maybe get in a bit earlier, but he said said its impossible, only after 4pm.We reminded him that in email and on booking he said 13.30 for early check in.We sat down to a nearby cafe and waited.Finally he called and said we can go back at 13.30.When we arrived the cleaner was still there with her kid.Called the owner again,and he said,he told us 14.30 and we have to wait. We were very annoyed and he threatened us with 4pm check in over and over again if we don't like what he says.Finally the cleaner finished cleaning(got a dirty mop and mopped around). The pillow case was yellow from the other guests sweat,and when i asked for a new pillow case the cleaner said,there is not enough time to wash everything properly,it's normal.Excuse me?! The pillow was so hard and thich anyway,we got a neck pain every day.The bedsheet as well had stains,so we put it upside down to avoid laying in it.The bed sink and toilet seat were full of black hair,shelves dusty and overall dirty. There was hot water onky for 3 minutes per day,and the neighbours were SOOO loud even at 4am,that we couldn't sleep properly, had to go over and asked them to tone it down,which of course didn't happen. We asked specificly for no further cleaning,NO ENTERING to our room.Yet we saw on the 4th day that the bin was changes (nothing else,no toilet paper refill,no new towels),so I called the owner with rage why the cleaner entered the room when we specifically asked NOT TO.And she didnt clean anyway,so what was the point?All our jewelleries,passport evetything was in the room.He laughed it off and said,they have the right to enter.Again..EXCUSE ME? The owner always said as an excuse that he doesn't speak english.Ans laughed.Very nasty,he shouldn't be in business.He doesn't know how to treat customers,he is not flexible at all and very very rude. If you are looking for an accomodation with a rude owner who speaks only english when it's convenient to him,and japardise your stuff being stolen,as you never know who and when enters to your room even when you specifically asked not to,cold water and dirt,then this is the place for you! The only positivity is the location. He answered in booking that we are not welcomed back.As IF I ever wanna go back to this dirty hole.With the rude owner.Upon reading the reviews here,it's clear others have the SAME issue.So ...maybe he should go work in a bar instead of running this place,which is unable.LOL

Excellent location for exploring Bari. Easy entry with cell phone unlocking. The problem is the rest... The shared bathroom has a broken door, the door shares the same lock as the rooms, thus ruining privacy and allowing people to use one room's key on another, not to mention the completely empty breakfast nook, with no place to make breakfast. The only thing that saves me is the room...
