Nice food, quiet pub, enjoyable atmosphere.

Stopped off for dinner with the family. Bangers and Mash - delightful! Lovely quaint pub with quality food and wonderful ales. Lots of parking outside too, with an overflow car park. Very very good.

I stayed here for 1 night as part of a road trip in England. The pub rents out 3 rooms which are located in an annex located right next to the pub. The room was a nice size, cozy and comfortable. Most desirable amenities were available; -fridge -TV -kettle with coffee, biscuits, chocolate and tea -WIFI The bathroom was small, but the space was efficiently utilized EVERYTHING was very well cleaned and maintained Unfortunately, the pub is not open for dinner on Mondays 😒😒😒 A "continental breakfast" was available in the room; cornflakes, apples, porridge, juice, milk and yoghurt (included) Parking is on site (included) There is little to experience / do in the surrounding area - one is therefore dependent on transport

Came today for a lovely roast dinner with my hubby as always Wayne the manager was fantastic making sure are drinks were filled, and making us feel at home and he was great as my hubby does not eat red meat so Wayne got him turkey roast which was not on the menu, we love coming here as all staff are very friendly and welcoming 😀 thank you all at the king and queen to make are visit wonderful. And wishes you all a merry Christmas and a lovely new year 😊 ✨️ ❤️
