Sahir House

Sahir House is Merseyside's oldest LGBTQ+ and HIV support charity, running since 1985. Based on Dale Street in the city centre, it offers support services, counselling, testing signposting, youth and community groups, and training across the Liverpool City Region. It's a genuine community anchor rather than a nightlife venue, and in 2025 it stepped in to help rescue Liverpool Pride when the festival's future was in doubt, co-delivering the event alongside LCR Pride Foundation. For visitors it's a useful point of contact for LGBTQ+ services and community connection in the city. Check sahir.org.uk for current services and opening times.
