About this place Baa Bar

Baa Bar, on Sackville Street in Manchester's Gay Village, is a mixed gay bar that pulls in locals and visitors who want to have a good time.

It's a relaxed, easygoing place. Young people, a real mix of them, just show up for drinks and to hang out. The drinks are cheap, with specials running constantly, so you won't blow your budget here.

Music and dancing are central to the energy. DJs play dance and party tracks all week. You can get into the high-energy club vibe or just have a few drinks with friends. It's a funky atmosphere that works for either. If you're planning a group event, the bar also hosts private parties; check their website.

Baa Bar sits right in Manchester's long-standing Gay Village, surrounded by other LGBTQ+ friendly spots. Its casual feel and focus on value make it an easy stop, whether you're a regular or just passing through town.

Unfortunately, the bouncer didn’t let my friend in because of his name in his passport. Racism in 2026, very sad.

Only reason I came in was because the girl doing the PR was so nice. She was really polite and professional and didnt lie to us about it being good.... it actually was. If it wasn't for Jamie leigh I'd of just walked on by. She's a credit to the bar!
