Staying here for a week. I booked a room with a window. It’s very spacious. Nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. The employees here are perfectly friendly and the location is fantastic. I would definitely come here again.

It was an okay hotel, I wouldn't want to stay any longer than I did here. I understand I booked a room with no windows but I've been other places that at least had some form of air con or ventilation. It was very warm all night. There was a fan in the room that did help alot. The room didn't seem to have a big light/one that worked because I was in a pretty dim room, all that worked was the lamps that didn't provide much. The bathroom was the best bit, I really liked the size, the bath itself was good and the sink space and mirror were good to have. Despite the poor reviews of this hotel, I did give it a chance, I've been to the other Britannia hotels in the Manchester area and they were both a while heap better. I will say despite the negatives the staff were lovely and polite. And the reception area for the hotel was really beautiful. And the location was very convenient as it's in the city centre, but I would probably go a little further down the road to the other Britannia.

Great location very central and right near the trams. Reception area looks lovely and grand. The rooms however very dated and bare. The quality of the bed, pillow and duvet were really poor. No restaurant at hotel. No parking. Very loud outside first thing in the morning. Wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

Very basic. Great if you want just a bed but for anything else it's not great. Walls are paper thin, beds are hard and so are the pillows. Not luxury but good if you don't mind a basic hostel style room.
