The hotel is great, the room was lovely, and the staff were welcoming, but the soundproofing is nonexistent. We booked a room from 6 PM to 10 AM hoping for a quiet night, but we were woken up at 3 AM by noise from the next room. We could hear even the slightest conversation, and we left at 4 AM because of it. It's a shame because everything was perfect up until then.
I go there very often, my partner and I love it! The prices are reasonable and the staff are really pleasant! It's very clean. The only suggestion I have is that they should just provide cloths and towels. I know there's staff to clean, but when you spill something, I prefer to clean up my messes myself. Now, I suppose if I had dared to call, they would have brought some, but sometimes you don't dare bother them for things like that. But thank you, because we really do have a pleasant time.
My partner and I booked the Safari Lodge suite. Upon arrival, we found there was no refrigerator in the suite, nor any bottled water or glasses. Inside, there's a jacuzzi but no window. It's very humid all night and there's a lack of ventilation. There's no welcome hygiene kit, and breakfast isn't included. €275 for the night, that's it.
Honestly, my boyfriend and I booked a 3-hour spa, and everything was perfect. We just booked the Venice suite, and unfortunately, the outdoor jacuzzi was heated to 42°C when it was only 30°C outside. The indoor jacuzzi wasn't filling up, but apart from these minor issues, we had a very pleasant 3 hours. 😉
A top-notch experience The Secret Garden Suite is simply magnificent. I highly recommend it.
