Escape Bar

Escape Bar earned itself a second act in April 2024, when new owners Carl and Reece took over and refurbished the place top to bottom. The result bills itself as the Old Town's most vibrant music bar, and the room backs the claim: big sound, big energy and a crowd that arrives late and stays later. It is a music bar rather than a club - no cover, no pretension, just a packed room on Carrer d'Alacant where the night's momentum carries everyone through to 4am. Doors open at 11pm most nights, an hour earlier on Friday and Saturday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Sitting at number 18, next to DYMK and up the street from Mercury, Escape completes the late-night cluster at the top of the Alacant strip - three doors that between them keep the village dancing until dawn.
