Gay Cruising in Seville (2026 Guide): Clubs, Saunas and the Law

Last verified: November 2026. Compiled from venue sites, Togayther (updated March 2026), Patroc (July 2026), GayTravel4U (October 2026) and Spanish press.

If you searched for cruising gay en Sevilla or zonas de cruising en Sevilla, here is the honest picture. Seville's legal, reliable scene is indoors: two men-only cruise clubs (El Bunker and The Boyz) and two saunas (The Cube Urban and Sauna Hispalis). Spanish guides also name a few outdoor areas. We say what we know about their status, the law and the risks, and we don't publish directions, meeting points or times for them.

The cruise clubs

El Bunker, Calle Torrijiano 2

A two-floor, men-only cruise and fetish bar a few minutes' walk from the Alameda de Hércules and about five minutes from The Cube. Registration is required. There's a bar above and a play area below, with a dark room, cabins, glory holes, a sling and showers. Hours: its site gives Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 20:00 to 03:00, and Wednesday and Sunday 18:00 to 03:00; Togayther adds Friday and Saturday 21:00 to 06:00. The site also posts one-off closures, as on 6 and 7 November 2026, so check elbunker.bar before a weekend visit. Themed nights, including naked and gear nights, carry a dress code enforced at the door. Entry was €10 to €15 when last published in 2023. Google: about 4.4 from about 330 ratings.

The Boyz, Calle Doña María Coronel 34

A men-only cruise club and social bar in the old town near Santa Catalina, with a bar on the entry level and a play floor with a dark room and cabins. Hours (Togayther, March 2026): Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 18:00 to 03:00; Friday and Saturday 21:00 to 06:00; closed Monday and Tuesday. Entry: about €10 to €15 with a drink. Its website was showing a maintenance page in November 2026, so confirm it's open before making a trip.

The saunas

Hours and prices are in our Seville sauna guide.

    • The Cube Urban, Calle Perafán de Rivera 8: men-only, with a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, cabins, a dark room and a cinema. Round the clock from Friday to Sunday.
    • Sauna Hispalis, Calle Céfiro 3: long-running, near Santa Justa, with a Finnish sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, cabins and a dark room. Non-stop from Friday to Sunday, per the operator's 2026 timetable.

    Bars with a dark room

Itaca is a gay dance club with a dark room (GayTravel4U). Pride B4R, the former Men to Men, had one historically; snippets still mention a small cruising area, but we couldn't confirm it's in use. Pikante on Calle Sierpes is a mainstream sex shop with video cabins and no evidence of a gay crowd, so we list it as a shop. The other gay bars are social places.

    Outdoor areas: status, not directions

Public places stay public: families, joggers and anglers use them, and you can't control who comes along. Our policy is to record what sources say and nothing that helps you find a spot.

    • La Raya and the Charco de la Pava, Isla de la Cartuja: the area Spanish sources name most often. Togayther listed La Raya in March 2026, and September 2026 reports called the Charco de la Pava a cruising hotspot. On 5 June 2026 a man was stabbed in the chest there after a sexual proposition was refused, and Policía Nacional arrested the suspect for attempted homicide. The Spanish Eye says nothing suggests the victims were there for sex.
    • Parque de María Luisa: named by blogs from 2013 to 2018, with nothing since then and absent from Togayther's 2026 list. Treat it as historical.
    • the Guadalquivir riverbank (Alamillo to Cachorro): most clearly named in a 2016 blog, with no current source. Treat it as historical.

We found no reports of police sweeps at these places, but two searches can't rule them out. Older lists also name public toilets and abandoned buildings. We don't repeat them, because those are private or dangerous places.

    The law

Spain's protections are among the strongest in the world: same-sex marriage since 2005, Andalusian LGBTI law since 2017, gender self-determination since 2023. Licensed clubs and saunas are legal. Outdoors, three rules matter:

    • Penal Code art. 185: obscene exposure in front of minors or specially protected disabled people is a crime, with 6 to 12 months' prison or a fine. Being seen by a child is what turns a fine into a criminal matter.
    • Ley Orgánica 4/2015, art. 37.5: obscene acts in public that aren't criminal are a minor infraction, fined €100 to €600 (art. 39.1).
    • Seville's convivencia ordinance, art. 12 (added 2024): bans being in public spaces undressed or only in underwear, with fines of up to €750 (art. 14). It was prompted by stag parties, but the wording is general.

This is a summary, not legal advice.

    When to go

    • Weekends all year: Friday and Saturday after midnight at The Boyz and El Bunker, Saturday and Sunday at the saunas.
    • Pride: late June, with 2027 dates not officially announced.
    • Summer: Seville regularly passes 40°C, so air-conditioned venues win in August.
    • Andalesgai, the queer film festival: 5 to 14 March 2027, per its submissions call.
    • International Leather & Boots Sevillian Meeting: typically mid-January per GayTravel4U, with 2027 dates awaited.

    Getting around

The Alameda, Macarena and Santa Catalina are within a 15 to 20 minute walk of each other. Hispalis is about 25 minutes on foot from the Alameda or a short taxi ride.

    Apps

Grindr and similar apps are widely used in Seville, and with such a small physical scene they often do the work of bars. Meet somewhere public first, and tell someone where you're going.

    Health: testing, PrEP, PEP

    • Free testing: Adhara runs rapid HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia tests at Calle Luis Montoto 48, by appointment via adharasevilla.org or 954 981 603.
    • PEP: go to hospital urgencias as soon as possible, and within 72 hours.
    • PrEP: bring enough for your trip, because a refill needs a Spanish prescription.

    Safety and etiquette

    • Stay indoors if in doubt. The indoor venues have staff, lockers and no legal risk.
    • Consent, every time. A hand moved away means no, and staff will back you up.
    • Follow the dress code. El Bunker enforces its themed nights at the door.
    • If you're attacked, report it to the police. Spain treats homophobic violence as an aggravated offence.

Nearby alternatives

Torremolinos, about 2.5 to 3 hours away, has Andalusia's densest cruise-bar and sauna strip. See our gay cruising map for more.

Frequently asked questions

Is cruising legal in Seville?

Licensed cruise clubs and saunas are legal. Sex in a public place can be fined €100 to €600, and obscene exposure in front of minors is a crime.

Is the Charco de la Pava safe?

A man was stabbed there in June 2026, and we don't recommend it. El Bunker, The Boyz and the saunas are the safer choice.

What's the best gay sauna in Seville?

The Cube Urban for newer facilities and a central location. Sauna Hispalis for lower prices and proximity to Santa Justa.

When is the scene busiest?

Friday and Saturday nights after midnight at the clubs, and Pride week in late June.

Can I do everything on foot?

Nearly everything indoors, yes. For a base, see our gay-friendly hotels in Seville.

Keep this page honest

Seville's venues change quietly. If a club has dropped a night or closed, use the "suggest an edit" link on any venue page and tell us when you were there.
