פסטיבל Sugar Bear

סוכר דוב (Sugar Bear) הוא סוף השבוע של הדובים באביב במונטריאול, המנוהל על ידי Bear-It, החברה המקומית העומדת מאחורי התחרות השנתית מר דוב מונטריאול (Mr. Bear Montréal). הוא משלב את סצנת הברים של הרובע (The Village) עם עונת בתי הסוכר (sugar-shack season), אז צפו לפלנל, סירופ מייפל והרבה זקנים.
התוכנית פרוסה על פני הברים של הרובע עצמו ולא באתר אחד. בשנת 2025 (10 עד 13 באפריל) היא נפתחה במפגש היכרות ב-Black Eagle, התחרות מר דוב מונטריאול נערכה ב-Stock Bar ביום שישי, ונשלחו המשתתפים ל-The Stud למסיבת האפטר. יום שבת פיצל את הקהל בין אירוע חברתי ב-Aigle Noir, מסיבת בית מרחץ ב-G.I. Joe ו-Pitbull's Bear Playground ב-Lion d'Or. יום ראשון נסגר עם בראנץ' בסגנון בית סוכר ומופע דראג ב-Cocktail.
חלק מהאירועים בחינם, אחרים דורשים כרטיסים בנפרד. בשנת 2025 עלתה התחרות 25 דולר, Bear Playground 40 דולר והבראנץ' 50 דולר. הישארו ברובע או בסמוך לו כדי שתוכלו ללכת ברגל בין המקומות.
Bear-It הודיעה על מהדורת 2027 בין 7 ל-11 באפריל. לא הצלחנו לאשר את התאריכים המדויקים של סוף השבוע של 2026.
