Moose Meadow Lodge & Treehouse

We stayed in the treehouse and got married by the pond. The owners are extremely sweet and genuine, the property is gorgeous, and everything about our stay was perfect. Cannot recommend them enough.

My husband and I stayed at Moose Meadow Lodge for our elopement/wedding day, and it was an absolutely magical experience. We booked the elopement package and stayed in the enchanting Tree House. Our visit was at the end of October, and despite the chilly season, the Tree House was perfectly warm and cozy, with plenty of hot water for the shower. From the moment we arrived, Greg and Willie’s hospitality made us feel right at home. Willie prepared delicious breakfasts every morning, and Greg went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was flawless—he even made sure we left with our marriage certificates in hand. The day after our wedding, we hiked up to the Sky Loft and were rewarded with breathtaking views of the mountains. It was the perfect way to end such a memorable trip. We can’t recommend Moose Meadow Lodge highly enough to anyone looking for a romantic place to elope or get married. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more, and we will cherish these memories forever.

Autumn in the Treehouse October 2025 We will never forget this magical place! Enchanting, magical, charming, + peaceful treehouse! We arrived for our elopement & could not wait any longer. It was magical & everything we wanted thanks to Greg + Willie. Best sleep we've ever had. Owls hooting in the night and the sound of leaves falling and the cold autumn breeze left us in a trance. All the intricate details of the treehouse were so fun, quirky & charming! We loved our stay here and the warm hospitality of Greg & Willie! The grounds are beautiful for hikes. We opted for the Tree service for breakfast and that alone exceeded our expectations. Willie is such a great cook. The homemade breakfast was superb, especially the homemade maple syrup and delicious Belgian style waffles. Highly recommend! We will return soon. Thank you, Greg + Willie

We got married on the at Moose Meadow Lodge and loved it so much we came back for our 10 year reunion. The location is beautiful! The rooms are rustic and lovely and romantic. Willy and Greg are wonderful! When we were there to get married, our rental car didn't come with snow tires and we got the first snow storm of the season during our visit with the heaviest being on our last night. We had left to go to dinner and watch a movie in Stowe, which is when the snow came. My spouse is good with driving in the snow but with summer tires, we got stuck coming back up the hill to the lodge. We called Willie and Greg, and they immediately came and helped us safely park our car and got us back to the lodge. When we visited 10 years later, they were just as welcoming and fun. Breakfasts by Willie are as good as ever. Both experiences have left lasting and happy memories for my spouse and me and we would love to go back and visit!
