You can’t beat the location of this hotel. Located in the heart of downtown Fort Collins, you’re within walking distance of so many places to eat, hang out, and shop from. The hotel itself was a good experience. We loved our room and the unique aspect of the hotels music theme. Every room has a record players and records are available throughout the hotel lobby to borrow. Our record player didn’t seem to work, but it was whatever. The in room amenities were nice, although I wish the rooms had an electric kettle. For a 5 star hotel I would have expected more bathroom amenities too. There is hotel parking for $20ish/night that we utilized and found convenient, especially since parking in the downtown area was limited to 2-hours in most places. The hotel room walls were quite thin. It didn’t bother us much but we could hear people in the rooms next to us fairly easily.

I went to the attached bar called the Magic Rat. Upscale, food, live music, dancing. Worth finding!

The Elizabeth Hotel is truly a gem located in the heart of Fort Collins’ busy shopping district. The surrounding area is filled with unique shops, artwork, sculptures, boutiques, and great food options, making it a wonderful place to explore on foot. One thing to note is that parking is limited and somewhat confusing to navigate. The hotel room key doesn’t always work properly for exiting the parking area, so we had to contact the gate attendant for assistance when leaving. The hotel itself has a very upscale adult atmosphere and seems geared more toward couples, business travelers, or adults looking for a stylish getaway rather than families with children. While there is no pool, they do offer a beautiful terrace area for drinks, multiple dining options, a bar, and the upstairs Sky Lounge with stunning mountain views. Live music is also offered throughout the property, though only on certain days of the week. If you happen to stay during a slower part of the week, such as Monday, some of the entertainment and venue options are more limited. One feature we really enjoyed was the record player in the room along with the record collection available in the lobby for guests to borrow. Even though many of the albums were older or unfamiliar, it still created a very unique and relaxing ambiance. We stayed in one of the suites, which was spacious and offered beautiful snowy city views during our trip. However, for the price point (around $500), there were a few amenities that felt lacking. The minibar fridge was barely stocked, some of the electrical outlets did not work properly with standard chargers, and the room could have benefited from additional lighting such as overhead fixtures or table lamps. We also requested extra towels and asked if the sofa sleeper could be prepared while we were out. Unfortunately, we received some resistance from staff and were instead asked if we had located the sheets and pillows ourselves. At this price level, having the sofa bed prepared should feel more complimentary and guest-focused. The gym was somewhat small but still thoughtfully equipped with towels, Gatorade in the refrigerator, a scale, and nice views overlooking the city. The food and drinks throughout the property were excellent. The bartender had no problem customizing a French 75 spritzer for me, and everything we ordered was delicious. Just be prepared — drinks and appetizers can add up quickly, especially in the Sky Lounge atmosphere. Overall, The Elizabeth offers a beautiful ambiance, excellent dining, and a memorable location. While we did enjoy our stay and may return in the future, I do feel some of the suites are slightly overpriced considering the room amenities and service details provided.

Beautiful hotel walking distance to a ton of nightlife and shopping.

Best places to stay in the area. The rooftop bar has the best bartender 47 tattoos, plays the drums and is from Hawaii. Matt is so great.

Great space and fabulous service. This hotel is a gem. It's so peaceful, restful, and well appointed. The attached restaurant has food and service down to a tee. Stay here. You won't regret it.

The staff were fabulous Don't balk at the price - worth every penny - good restaurant, good coffee, great rooftop bar - right in the center of things happening.
