Maslin Beach

Maslin Beach, about 45 kilometres south of central Adelaide on the Fleurieu coast, is Australia's first legally designated clothing-optional beach, given official status in 1975. Backed by dramatic ochre cliffs, the roughly three-kilometre strand keeps its nude section toward the southern end, and the far southern stretch is the area long recognised as gay-popular. It is a seasonal, daytime destination with limited facilities and a steep cliff-path access - bring water, sun protection and be mindful of tides. A relaxed, scenic escape from the city rather than a nightlife spot.
