Sunnyside North Beach

Sunnyside North Beach, below the cliffs south of Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, is Victoria's best-known clothing-optional beach and a long-standing gathering place for gay and naturist visitors, with the northern end the gay section. It sits about an hour south of Melbourne by car, near Frankston. Legal as a nude beach and framed by bushland and bay views, it draws a friendly LGBTQ+ crowd through the warmer months. There are no facilities, so bring water, and note that access is via a steep track down from the clifftop car park.
