Hotel Love

The service was terrible. I couldn't go on the day I had booked, and since it was still three months away, I asked for a refund, but they just said, "It's against our customer policy..." and refused to refund me. I was simply ripped off by the hotel.

The interior is beautiful! The bath is also big and fun!

We accidentally booked this hotel without realising what type of place it was, which is on us—but that doesn’t excuse how absolutely terrible the experience was. From the moment we walked into the room, the smell was unbearable. It was a smoking room and absolutely reeked, and the so-called air purifier somehow made it even worse. The balcony was filthy, covered in grime, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The biggest issue was how unsafe it felt. The door locks were incredibly flimsy—honestly, it felt like someone could kick the door in with no effort. On top of that, being required to hand in our room key every time we left and collect it again when returning was bizarre and added to the overall uncomfortable experience. The entire place felt dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe. We ended up leaving after the first hour because we genuinely didn’t feel comfortable staying there any longer. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel.

I think this is the best love hotel in Nagoya. The rooms are spacious and the price is very reasonable if you make a reservation. The breakfast is especially satisfying. Unlike business hotels, you can eat in your room. They have a wide selection of ramen, a la carte dishes, pasta, and more. Some rooms have saunas. The beds are of course spacious.

It doesn't even deserve one star. This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. It's always fully booked, so I thought it was a popular and good hotel. I finally managed to get a reservation, so I went for the first time (9 PM reservation). I was looking forward to it, but... When I arrived and went to the front desk, it was a face-to-face check-in with no partitions. I've never seen a love hotel like this before. It's not a business hotel. And when I tried to tell them my reservation number at the reception, they snapped, "What's your name?" They should have written in the email from the beginning that they would confirm the reservation after I gave my name at the front desk. I said my name quietly because there were other guests, but despite there being several other guests, they loudly said, "Mr./Ms. [Name]?" My personal information was completely exposed. Then they said there was no reservation and went to check in the back room, and when I thought they were back, they said they couldn't confirm the reservation and asked to see my phone. When I showed it to them, they took my phone without permission and then checked. I went to the trouble of zooming in on the screen so that the reservation number would be visible, but don't touch my phone without permission. "We've confirmed your reservation, so we'll show you in." If that's the case, then don't ask for my name in the first place. You showed me the screen from the beginning, so you should have confirmed it that way. I wanted to get into the room quickly, but they didn't give me the key right away and demanded upfront payment. Payment is usually made at the automatic payment machine in the room or upon checkout. That's what a normal, good love hotel would do. After that, they dragged things out by telling me to choose my breakfast while other guests were waiting. I could have looked at and chosen that in the room at my leisure. Just give me the key already. I wanted to yell at them, but my wife was there and I didn't want to ruin the mood, and there were other guests, so I held back and endured it. Isn't it supposed to have an automatic lock or a card key? When I got to the room, it was shabby, smelly, dirty, and cramped. 12,000 yen I paid for a C-rank room and this is what it's like? Covered in dust. The toilet and bathroom exhaust fans are broken, the sauna is dirty, the shower water pressure is too weak, and when you fill the bathtub, there's so much sebum floating on top that it makes you not want to get in. I just took a shower. The lighting was so dim, but you could still clearly see the sebum floating on top. The mirror was also cloudy with water stains, so you couldn't see anything. They clearly don't clean at all. The toilet paper only comes off as a core after pulling it about 20cm, and they can't even change the toilet paper roll. The microwave and electric kettle were so dirty that I didn't want to use them. The bed was small, and I was hungry so I ordered dinner, but it was too expensive and tasted awful. The price and taste didn't match. Well, I guess that's what you get with microwave cooking. Can't be helped. Four dishes of this awful food cost almost 5000 yen? Breakfast wasn't good either. This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. I checked in at 9 PM and checked out at noon the next day, but I checked out early in the morning. Staying there for a long time would make me feel sick from all the dust. It's disgusting. I don't even want to give it one star. I'm never going back. I don't even want to pass by this hotel. It makes me sick.

I left something behind and only realized it two weeks later, so I had almost given up hope of finding it. However, when I called the front desk to report my lost item, a kind woman helped me, and I was able to retrieve it safely! The hotel was also great! Thank you very much!

Despite numerous complaints about the service and room conditions, there's no room for improvement. The attitude of the elderly person at the front desk was particularly bad. After I gave my name and they explained the charges and room details, they acted sullenly, as if they were unmotivated or annoyed, completely unqualified as a customer service professional. I don't know how many decades they've worked in customer service, but it's a wonder they've managed to stay in the business with that level of service. Regarding the service level and the room itself, I felt it was commensurate with the price. I don't need to go back.

I wanted to surprise him for his birthday, so I chose this hotel, which we had stayed at together before. I checked in alone in the evening, decorated the bed, left the room briefly, and then he and I entered the room as if we had just arrived, and the surprise was a success! The overnight and short rest fees were billed together. 😌 I had to inquire by phone and email, but I was very relieved by the kind responses I received. When the lady at the front desk guided us, she was very cooperative, saying, "We'll give you this explanation sheet when you both come later. We'll explain it again as if you've just arrived." Even when we checked in together, the front desk staff had changed to a man, but it seemed that the information had been properly communicated, and we were able to enter the room smoothly. I cleaned up as much as I could, but there was so much trash, I'm sorry to Hotel Love... 😫🙏🏻 The hotel facilities themselves were excellent, and although there was a cigarette smell, it was within acceptable limits since it was a smoking room. The B-type room was just the right size and very comfortable 𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯 I will definitely use your hotel again if I have the opportunity! Thank you very much ૮⁔. ̫ .⁔ა

I was surprised by how beautiful and sharp the woman at the reception desk was!!! I think the price and the rooms are good!

Check in is at 2000hrs, fast process, there's alot of rooms in this building. Generally clean, there's a jackpot machine in the room tho not much use for us. Air conditioning was only on heater mode, thankfully our balcony door was able to open else it would have been stuffy. Requested for extra pillows and they accommodated. Unable to cast for TV, only 1 english channel. Has a small fridge and microwave. Generally like the room size. Location wise, there's really nth much nearby. U'll need to walk 5mins to 7-11 and a little bit more there's a big local supermarket. Walkable to Osu walking street, about 20mins. Economical price for the room size.

When I tried to make a reservation by phone, I was told that they only accept reservations online, and when I did, I was told that "reservations made online do not qualify for the members' service." When I tried to make a reservation by phone, I explained that I had no choice but to make the reservation online because I couldn't make it over the phone, but they didn't understand. I booked online on a weekday. The price was around 7,500 yen. The cleanliness wasn't great, but it seemed to have all the amenities you'd expect in a love hotel. The check-out time was stated as 12:00 p.m. in the guest guide, but I'm not sure if this is normal for love hotels in Nagoya, but a little after that, a staff member suddenly opened the door and asked, "It's past check-out time, so I'm going to turn off the lights in your room. What do you want to do?" At this point, there was no explanation of any extension or overtime fees. Then, about 15 minutes after check-out time, I received a call in my room, informing me that the break time had been switched to 7:00 p.m. and that I should come to the front desk to pay 9,800 yen. I called the front desk back and told them I intended to check out and asked why I was being charged a break fee, but they said, "We don't have an overtime fee." I explained that I wasn't happy with a fee that was higher than the room rate, and finally went back to the front desk. They told me I only had to pay the 15-minute fee (1,870 yen) this time, but that future reservations would be rejected. They were unfriendly throughout, and even after I paid, they just took the money and ignored me, which is completely unbecoming of a front desk employee. ◎Later, when I looked at the official website, I saw a statement about extension fees. What's more, the extension fee I paid was supposed to be 15 minutes, but it turned out to be 30 minutes. I was told that there wasn't a fee, so did they expect me to just go ahead and pay if they were too forceful? I can't help but feel like they were taking me for a ride. In the end, they did reduce the fee, but - A fee structure with no prior explanation - A charge that was more than the room rate - Pushy behavior immediately after checkout All of this left me with a feeling of distrust. Definitely, I'll never use this service again when I come to Nagoya.
