Labyrinth was a central Baku venue where LGBTQ+ people quietly gathered — one of very few spaces in the city where a queer crowd could find each other. On the night of 27 December 2025 it was raided by police, who detained 106 people; those held described searched phones, humiliating questioning about their private lives, and on-the-spot administrative fines.
Its status since then is uncertain, and like every "queer" venue in Baku it operates on some nights rather than as a stable, reliable scene. Anyone considering it should read our Baku safety guide first, keep a very low profile, and understand that spaces where the community concentrates are known to the authorities and have been targeted before.

Good music, sincere atmosphere and kind staff 🔥🔥
It has some problems, of course, but it's almost the only place in the whole city that's safe for the community. Thanks)
