The owner is extremely friendly. The boutique hotel is located on a quiet side street. Bakeries and supermarkets are within easy walking distance. The city center is about a 10-minute bike ride away. I would gladly stay again!

The worst B&B I have ever stayed in! If you are a great kind person who wants to pay a high extra fee to sponsor the owner to repair the old house, welcome to stay! The faucet diverter stuck on the first day, and we couldn't use the shower head to take a shower, we sent a message to the owner but got no response. The next day, the only roll of toilet paper was used up (there was no spare in the room), and there was still no response after sending a message. Finally, when we got home, there were two rolls of toilet paper but placed directly on the floor. The boss had no enthusiasm for service and no concept of hygiene. The worst came when on the third night the owner thought the leak in the ceiling on the first floor was because water splashed out of the bathtub while we were taking a shower, and she forced her way into our bathroom while we were taking a shower! The boss asked us to pay more than 300 euros in compensation. We said it was okay if she called the police, but she asked us to pay on the spot and refused to let us leave! The shower room had no shower curtain or glass door, and the bathroom floor was made of wood without any waterproofing measures. However, the owner blamed the leakage problem on the customers. It's really disgusting! There are plenty of beautiful old house B&Bs to choose in Europe, but in Maison d’Artiste they only have beautiful promotional photos and infuriating service! * Dear Ms. Sandra, My child has been bathing independently for 2 years, and he has never had any leaks in any hotel or B&B. Last month, another guest also left negative reviews on booking.com regarding the drainage problem in the bathroom (If you're concerned, please check Bookin.com yourself). Don't blame the problem on an innocent child, especially when he was frightened and cried all night because a strange and emotionally uncontrollable person broke into the bathroom while he was taking a bath! You are so shameless! PLEASE FACE THE PROBLEM and BE A RESPONSIBLE OPERATOR. Not just this old house, but your heart needs a reconstructed project.

I had a fantastic experience. A very friendly hostess who goes the extra mile. I was able to get into my room early (as early as 11 a.m.). I was always welcome to use the bike, even after checkout. There were no problems whatsoever about leaving my bag after checkout. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was a nice sitting area, and the bathroom was very spacious. Showering was a bit awkward, as there's a bathtub and no place to hang the showerhead. Perhaps it would be less comfortable in very hot weather, as it's an old and poorly insulated building. Furthermore, there were few electrical outlets in the room (the ones that were there were in inconvenient places).
