The Forest

A magnificent place nestled in the heart of the woods; you feel completely cut off from the world when you're there. We loved our stay at "The Forest"—from arrival to departure, everything was perfect. I highly recommend it!

An unforgettable experience!The tiny house was clean, fully equipped and the nearby lake was incredible! There’s a kayak to explore the lake as well, and many hiking trails close by like troostembergbos and the larger walenbos. Excellent spot for a weekend getaway!

A beautiful cabin on the edge of a small lake. The location is stunning, in the heart of a large park. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a night. Good to know: heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, which adds character but also creates temperature fluctuations. It's best to have warm pajamas in the morning! (In winter, of course). There's no minibar, so you'll need to bring your own drinks or arrange for something else. We had the cheese and wine, which was good. The price is a bit high for the quality.

Fabulous! On the edge of a pond, surrounded by nature, with only ducks and frogs for neighbors. A superb tiny house, a delightful haven of comfort and well-being. Everything was perfect; we're booking for next year!

Perfect for relaxing and walking. Super beautiful and cozy. Perfect concept. We will definitely be back. Slept incredibly well, too. One point, though, is the food is very limited, especially for the price. Only one large roll for two people. Dry salad with dinner. Next time, we'll bring our own food.

A truly unique experience! A lovely luxury cabin in a natural setting, just the way we like it. The best part: arriving there without any contact, thanks to clear and precise instructions provided beforehand by email. It really felt like we were at home :) The fire already lit when we arrived was fantastic. The bathtub with a view is a must-have. The forest opposite offers great walking opportunities, and shops are nearby if needed. We just didn't have time to use the kayak. The downsides: the ladder to get into bed wasn't comfortable for our feet! And the booking calendar was already full. That's not ideal for us, but it's great for you. Congratulations on this wonderful place!

This place is very pleasant for recharging and connecting with nature. The Tiny House is very well laid out and the decor is really nice. For that, it gets a 5/5. As for communication, it's just okay. No welcome message, the email is automated and not even adapted to the season (you have to give 2 hours' notice so the wood stove can be lit). No special touches (a bottle of water? A local product?). Regarding breakfast, yes, it's plentiful, but again, you find yourself in a place where the focus is on nature and nothing else (there's no Wi-Fi, by the way). So you expect to receive a breakfast with local products, but no. Maternelle jam, Nutella, industrial yogurt, numbered eggs—it's really a shame. Coming to this place is quite expensive, so I think there are improvements to be made regarding the value for money to make the experience optimal. If you adjust that, it would be truly magnificent.
