Myer's Hotel Berlin

Myer’s hotel gave a 5-star experience from start to finish! We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and splurged for the balcony suite. We were offered a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival and the front desk staff were so welcoming and sweet to wish us a happy anniversary on arrival. We had some unforeseen travel mishaps, including our luggage arriving late and an emergency department visit. The staff went out of their way to help by bringing our luggage up to our room when it arrived and ordering us a taxi and providing first aid care in the middle of the night. The service was exceptional! Myer’s hotel has the best hotel breakfast we have ever had!! It was buffet style, and had so many options including crepes, charcuterie, several types of cheese and bread, pastries, eggs in multiple styles, a selection of muesli/yogurt, as well as bacon, sausage, and multiple condiments and accoutrements (sweet or savory) for any palate or breakfast craving. Also, the hours of the breakfast (0700 – 1100) were conducive to either early morning plans or a leisurely pace of sleeping in and still having enough time to sit down and enjoy breakfast. We were never bothered by housekeeping, but our room was cleaned everyday despite a couple of late starts. Not sure how the hotel kept track, but their process was flawless. The rooms are also air-conditioned if hot outside. Myer’s hotel is also tucked in the most delightful, peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg away from the major tourist areas but being close enough to these areas to walk or take the subway. It gave a sense of a home away from home, and even though we were far from being locals ourselves, felt the local vibe. The restaurants in this area were wonderfully delicious, and we had the opportunity to try some local classic German fare, as well as some Italian and Turkish meals. We were so happy with our stay here, that we wish all hotels could be this wonderful and if lucky enough to come back to Berlin, we will not stay anywhere else. We will also let all our friends know to stay here if visiting Berlin. Thank you so much for everything! We loved Berlin and hope to be back soon.

We were so happy about the location of the hotel. A quiet residential neighborhood yet many cute local cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and have a beautiful old world charm.

Excellent breakfast and exceptionally friendly staff!

My stay at Myer's Hotel was delightful, an oasis of calm amid an upside-down world. The staff are helpful and friendly. My room was tastefully furnished and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast with a view of the peaceful garden was healthy and delicious. The central location with easy access to trams is a big plus. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! The staff is courteous, always friendly, and very competent. The rooms are excellent, spacious, and comfortable. A wonderful breakfast, a good bar, a small garden, and a great location—we felt truly at home!

We only visited the bar. Very nice premises with deep leather armchairs and good drinks. The prices were reasonable for a hotel bar of this style.

A hotel I can highly recommend, with beautiful rooms featuring high ceilings, lovingly and individually furnished. The breakfast buffet is amazing; it alone is worth visiting Berlin for! 😄 Very friendly and attentive hotel staff.
