Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel

Excellen breakfast and location. Good food at the hotels own restaurant. Nice spa.

Mixed impressions – good location, but room for improvement in comfort and service I booked a standard room on the third floor. The room was dark and noisy, which negatively impacted my sleep. The air conditioning worked, but it made a disturbing noise. The bathroom facilities left much to be desired: the towels seemed thin, and the toilet paper was only changed upon request. The dining area was generally noisy, which detracted from the overall restaurant experience. Food and drinks: No natural yogurt or quark available. Salmon was unavailable. No pure juice, only juice drinks (high water content). The cheese and cold cut selection was adequate; there was no jam, only a very runny "sauce." The bacon was sitting in its own grease and wasn't crispy. Scrambled eggs were made with runny eggs, which affected the texture. Pool and sauna: Use of the pool and sauna should be included free of charge when booking a standard room, but it was an extra charge (1.5 hours = €20). I found that disappointing. Overall, I expected more from a 4.5-star rating.

When I stayed again, I used the spa center and the hot stone massage, which was a real pleasure for 75 minutes. Whatever the weather, I recommend going up to the 8th floor observation terrace.

Very fantastic, professional and responsive administrator in the Spa area 14.06.26. Thanks to the masseur, a master of his craft, I had a lymphatic drainage massage and an Anti Age facial procedure. A great end to my vacation 🙏🙏🙏😇

Nice hotel & spa was great, good location right on the edge of the old town, easy walking distance of all the bars & restaurants, staff was friendly chatty & very helpful

Very friendly staff and nice room..perfectly located. Only the water pressure of the shower is far too low.

Beautiful view over the river. Very extensive breakfast buffet. Convenient location relative to the city center, station, and market halls.

The complimentary room upgrade was a very nice surprise and highly appreciated. Also received a discount voucher for the restaurant, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend booking directly via the hotel homepage — the service and benefits were excellent. Looking forward to staying again! 😊
