Lo Stadspark, il grande polmone verde a sud-ovest del centro città, è un homo-ontmoetingsplaats (luogo di incontro gay) conosciuto da decenni. L'attività si concentra nei tratti boscosi più tranquilli lontano dai sentieri principali, per lo più la sera e dopo il tramonto. What a super cool campsite close to the city of Groningen! Do bring your bike! You're in the city within 15 minutes! Very spacious pitches! Delicious rosé for sale there! It was nice that we could choose between a fancy dinner or just going to the snack bar! Mmm, the egg ball! Very friendly owners! Highly recommended!

Good campsite. Sanitary facilities were okay. There's a restaurant (which I didn't use). The town center is a 3.3 km walk away. Shopping is about 2 km away.
