Su questo posto Kralingse Bos

Kralingse Bos is Rotterdam's most well-known cruising area, a long-standing spot for the local queer community. Situated in the wooded area surrounding the Kralingse Plas lake, this park has a history of welcoming gay and queer visitors for decades. Since approximately 2010, the municipality has implemented an official tolerance policy, creating a more secure environment for those seeking encounters. Under this policy, cruising is permitted strictly within a designated zone marked by posts. Visitors can expect to find facilities such as condom bins, and police presence is primarily for visitor protection rather than enforcement, provided individuals adhere to the marked area. The cruising zone is most active during the evenings, offering a chance to connect with others. As with any public cruising spot, it's advisable to keep valuables at home and to be mindful and respectful of all park users, ensuring a positive experience for everyone. This established cruising area provides a discreet and tolerated space for queer individuals in Rotterdam. While specific events or regular gatherings aren't listed, the consistent tolerance policy and the venue's history suggest a reliable space for the LGBTQ+ community. It's a place where discretion and respect are key, contributing to its long-standing reputation within the city's queer scene.

This forest is located east of the center of the city of Rotterdam and here it is pleasant to walk and cycle or enjoy the beach on the lake of Kralingen Rotterdam

On a beautiful spring evening we had gone for dinner at the lake, and enjoyed the wide view. When the sun is in its last hours of work in the evening, you take beautiful pictures here.

We had a nice walk around the pee. Beautiful hiking trails and beautiful nature. Plenty of catering facilities, although not all are open on Mondays. Parked at Schone Lei, is still free.

Rotterdam is a very pleasant city to visit, the Dutch are charming, there are many bars, many restaurants, museums, shops, large green spaces, transport poses no problem. You just need to take a card that allows you to use all transport, it is very easy to recharge, Amsterdam is an hour away by train...

Unfriendly and unpleasant treatment. I had to order a tea because I needed 40ml of boiled water for bottle feeding my crying baby. I had already paid for a spa blue but really wanted to see 1.50 for boiled water. Fortunately, this is the first time I have experienced this.

Go to "De Grote Schijn" which is during the month of October. What an awesome experience. The lights are so beautiful, the music as well. It is a very memorable hike.

We visited the park on a sunny day with rain after a few hours. The area offers both a lake and a forest. If you want to walk or jog, the forest with its paths is very nice and beautiful. If you want to sit and enjoy yourself, the lakeside with ducks, swans, etc is good. There are 2 beautiful windmills and restaurant to eat. You can plan a full day trip if the weather holds. A must while visiting Rotterdam.

A walk around Lake Kralingse Bos gives you possibility to catch some air, see some animals. It was a cloudy day, but still ok. You pass by restaurants, an old mill and a mini zoo

This is a really nice area to visit if you can spare the time. There are water views, as there is a lake there, big park, a cafe or may be two, and other amenities. It's good for families with children and for those people who have lots of time and nothing to do with it.
