Lovers Benidorm

The bar is literally a basement with diva music and a games area; two drinks cost me €19.

We're from Valencia and spent a few days in Benidorm, and every night we could, we went to this place for a while. The place is fun, with lots of windows, areas for meeting other men, everything is clean, and they have live music on certain days. The prices are reasonable for the area, and they have a good variety of drinks. Hector's service was super friendly and welcoming. We'll be back as soon as we can.

The staff at the pub are so friendly and welcoming that you always want to come back. (And we have!) Whenever we're in Benidorm, we visit almost every day. Hector is a delight, and so is Alvaro. It's a real pleasure to spend quality time at LOVERS.

Great atmosphere, arrived a little early for the night but the crowd filled up very quickly. Lovely crowd, easy to chat too and friendly bar staff.

They charge whatever they want. When you ask for a price list, they sarcastically ask if you think a bar has one, when it's mandatory. Then they kick you out. They charge a different price every time. Avoid this place. To your response: "Don't be ignorant. I didn't mean to cause you any more trouble, but you committed several irregularities. Two of us came in at 4 a.m. and ordered a drink to share, which you tried to charge more than usual. When the person who served us told him it was a drink for both of us, he said it to the other person, and I clearly heard, 'Well, charge him 9 euros.' We had been there before, and that wasn't the price. I told you to get the price list, and it's clear that you were in a bind." I asked for a refund so we could leave because of the appalling service you provided, including the "you can't read" comment when you had supposedly given us a refund that YOU HADN'T GIVEN. You gave me a copy of the sales receipt. By the way, people were coming in with drinks from other places. What do you know about what I can or can't afford? When you notice irregularities, you respond with insults.

Small and cozy place, which is great if they controlled the number of people inside, as the air conditioning is terrible! Suddenly, we heard the sound of breaking glass. Immediately afterward, the waiter and the owner appeared, blaming us and threatening to throw us out. It was PATHETIC and very DISRESPECTFUL, especially since we were drinking from plastic cups (the same waiter had served us). Anyway, I don't plan on returning and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. You just replied to a review from nine years ago!!! You're a MACHINE 🙌🏾 The incident I'm describing happened during Pride celebrations, and the drinks were served in plastic cups! Furthermore, you haven't understood a single thing I've said!! If glass shatters and you served me in a plastic cup, HOW CAN I BE TO BLAME??? Anyway…

I absolutely love lovers bar. The drinks prices are not over inflated it's a nice intimate bar with fantastic music, the bar staff are well hot. There are extra facilities in this bar should anyone wish to use them (dark chilling area) and the toilets are always clean too. I always use this bar when going to Benidorm. They have a really good selection of music and if you ask the bar stuff and tip him nicely he will put on what you want...
