Sparkles è un bar di drag show all'interno dello Yumbo Centre a Playa del Inglés, il cuore pulsante dei bar e club gay che animano la scena gay di Gran Canaria. Le serate sono un mix di drag e cabaret, con DJ che si alternano tra e dopo gli spettacoli. La clientela è composta principalmente da turisti gay provenienti dal nord Europa. È aperto tutte le sere dalle 20:00 alle 02:00. La line-up delle regine cambia con le stagioni, quindi controllate il sito web per scoprire chi si esibirà e gli orari degli spettacoli. È un ottimo punto di partenza per la serata, prima che le discoteche dello Yumbo si animino dopo mezzanotte.

We went with the intention of seeing the Show but, honestly, we were not impressed, I expected more. Some of the ladies were really amazing but some were not, they seemed like they were just doing their job and not enjoying their role at all. The service was great, especially the tall, skinny guy who was funny and always smiling

This was such a great show 👏 what a laugh 😃 bloody love a good drag show and all the queens were great 👍 would 💯 recommend if your in gran canaria 👏 and the drinks are very good too 👌 I was singing and dancing 💃🏾 all the way through It's located in the yambo centre

Ok so the show itself was really well put together. But here is the reason for the 2 stars. I ordered 2 soft drinks and the waiter said "and one for me?" I said sure. He was a bit cheeky. But that was ok. When the drinks arrived he had ordered a 4.50€ drink which to me is taking advantage. I don't know if this is normal practice to get more money in the till, or it was just a waiter that needs reeling in a little. But it left a bad taste in my mouth.
